  1. Ok I know this has probably been asked 120 times but what's your opinion of overs and unders?Which ladies on the forum have overs, and who has unders? I know the majority has unders. I always thought of myself having unders, as I didn't really like the thought of overs really because I've heard rippling is seen more and there's a higher risk of cc. But I had a consultation a while ago and the surgeon recommended overs for me because I have enough breast tissue to cover them. Plus overs will give me more upper pole fullness (which I really need) whereas unders will give me less upper pole fullness. I haven't had a consultation with my actual surgeon (Dr Tang) yet as he's in Sydney and ill be meeting him the day before surgery. So I don't know what placement he will recommended. I'm just nervous! And I'm nervous about the size I want to go. One other guy recommended 375cc and said any bigger and I will sag quickly...Then the surgeon I last saw recommended 450cc and didn't seem worried about sag (I even told him what the last guy said!) 43 days to go!!!
  2. Hi everyone, I just found this forum today. I am having my surgery on Feb 10th. I have lost a lot of weight and my boobs in the process. I was a UK 42H and now a 36D...I can see my feet now! eek! I am having PolyTech Opticon implants - subglandular placement and either 680 or 750cc. I haven't found many pics of the slightly larger anatomicals placed over the muscle. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
  3. Hey girls! So my surgery is on Friday. My surgeon has suggested to go with over's because I have a lot of breast tissue and am boarder line. I've been fine with this up until now and I'm questioning if maybe I want unders or dual plane. I'm pretty sure I want over's but am worried about the added risks and the quicker sagging. Can some girls who have over's share the following: -post op pictures -recovery stories -how they feel about them now sorry for asking so much, I thought I had it all planned out and now I'm confused! :S
  4. Hi ladies, I've been for consults with two ps both of whom have suggested overs due to the amount of tissue I already have and the amount of heavy lifting I do and they have both said there is a risk of my tissue/skin sagging below the implant with unders. The first suggested 425cc HP or 470cc XHP over the muscle. The second suggested 460 or 520cc XHP over the muscle. Ultimately I would love to go with the 520 XHP but am a little concerned about sagging with overs. Was just hoping to hear from any ladies who have had overs around this size if possible. Thanks in advance x
  5. Hi ladies! I had my boobies done in September 2015... I was paranoid I would be going too big with 505cc moderates.... I am 6 foot tall & weigh an athletic 80-85kgs. My surgeon tried to push my to the 565's but I was worried about them making me look fat. Straight away after the op I wished I went bigger!! I actually re-booked in to go up to the 625cc xhp's a week after my op but then freaked out and cancelled it, thinking it would be best to let my 505's settle. 9 months on and everyone is obsessed with my boobs, my friends are all jealous, they look big and super natural... but I still wish I went bigger and want that semi "fake" look, which no one else seems to understand! and it's weird because I never thought I'd want big fake tits. ANYWAY, my surgeon is an absolute legend & I am going back in on Wednesday to get 700 or 750cc XHP's!! He says I could go up to 800's even but I won't do that. I like to exercise a lot and that is a concern for me. I have not told many people because I know they will try talk me out of it... But I am tall and I think they will look amazing! Just wondering if anyone else with similar stats has done a similar upgrade? Thanks xx
  6. So yesterday morning I had my consult and surgery with Dr Boonchai. It was such a pleasant experience and he is so lovely! Of course a bit clinical in his approach but does have a little bit of a giggle here and then and he definitely makes sure you know all that you need to. i decided upon 350s textured, round, unders and endoscopic transaxillary (through the armpit). I didn't want my boobs to have scars on them and Dr B said he can achieve better placement! Although it is longer recover especially combined with under the muscle, he said it's the scar that will be more important. Trying on the sizers were fun! I have a very small diameter so even 325 was pushing it but he gave me 350cc to try on and they were so much better than I chose them even though he said there would be a little bit of a risk. My boobs are also uneven so that means 325 in my bigger boob and 350 in my smaller boob. The nurses were so lovely and sweet. However in the operating room I was waiting on the table for a while, doctor wasn't in yet then one of the ladies said to take a deep breathe which I didn't understand what for until I realise it was the anaesthetic! I little warning would have been appreciated but I'm not really bothered Got back to my room and just in and out of sleep for the whole day. I tried to drink and eat but would vomit each and every time. My chest also felt like someone was sitting on it, breathing is a little bit difficult and you don't realise how much you use your chest muscles! Crazy. My boyfriend had to take me to the bathroom and feed me etc. Today is my 2nd day post op and I feel better but still really really sore. I had my drains removed and I was expecting it to be really painful as many of you girls said but not at all! I got to go home and just chilling in my room with room service and my boyfriend. He's been super good, I've also cried a few times but I'm not sure why. Also a few tips, if you have acrylics it might be better to get them removed in Australia. I went to Jungcylon and at a proper 'salon' it was going to cost 40/50 aud. in Australia, it costs about $20 so I found somewhere else that removed them for much cheaper but I was literally there for 2+ hours with her wrapping my nails in nail polish remover and tin foil and trying to scrape it off! Get a really good back massage because of all the sleeping up right you're going to be doing! And i recommend buying a posture support pillow from Target, costs lik $10 and it's the best thing ever! P.S I know it's only 2 days post op but... My boobs are really high and pointy and I know they're swollen but I'm wondering with D+F they will get bigger? Or I dunno! And had dr B ever measured you as a cup size when you tried on your sizers and you ended up being much smaller? Thank you ladies! I'll keep you up to date on my progress x
  7. Hi ladies! I am booked in for my BA 3 weeks from now. I am 173cm tall (5ft9) and about 72kg (160lbs) My surgeon suggested the 450cc extra/ultra high profile implants. I'm just concerned that they will be too narrow for my chest? She didn't measure my BWD and I did at home (although no guarantee its correct) and I ended up with 14cm. My surgeon did make a remark that I had a wide chest so I'm wondering why she chose UHP? Does anyone with a BWD similar to mine have UHP implants? I am thinking of going for 450cc HP round silicone overs (mentor) implants. Do you think that would be better then the UHP? Or do you think I should be going up in cc's abit more since I am lowering the profile? I wear a 34B bra, what size do you think those implants would get me to?
  8. Hi All, I'm trying to make a decision on my boobs and am leaning towards overs, but two surgeons I've seen recommend under. If you have overs, are you happy with them? Do they look natural(ish), do you have any issues with CC? The third I saw was Dr Konrat - I've searched a few post here on her, but there's scant info. If you used her (or not) please give me the details and your feedback. Thanks Heaps!
  9. Hi all, I was just wondering if many girls have had over the muscle with 325cc / smaller sized implants and what sizes they started with and ended up with. So many people have unders, but not many overs, and I'm wondering if overs end up looking a bit bigger than unders do, when the same size implant is used. 325 is the largest I can go while staying within my natural limits, but I'm wondering what that'll actually end up looking like.. I've had crisalix imaging done and pictures with the sizers, but it's so hard and everyone says they aren't that accurate. Thank you x
  10. Today I had a wonderful consultation with Dr Ellis Choy in Sydney. i felt so comfortable and knew within the first 10 mins that he would be my surgeon. My breasts are slightly saggy and he said I am boarder line but will get great, natural and full results from a BA alone. He has recommended overs and I just wanted to hear from some girls whom have recently had overs- with photos if possible. Also, I have had anxiety disorder from around 3 years. I've gotten better at managing it but obviously surgery brings a lot of anxiety out- anyone else had a BA that could give me some tips? I'm worried my surgery day will come and I will panic and not go into surgery clear minded if that makes sense thanks girls!
  11. I've had two consults with different PS's and one recommended sub fascial, the other dual plane... PS who recommended sub fascial measured skin, other surgeon didn't, he did a visual only. Now I'm really confused! I dont really want to see a third PS. Any thoughts...thanks
  12. My doctor has recommended getting overs (despite me being thin i have enough breast tissue). Can you see or feel the implant? Has anyone has capsular contracture? Please help out girlies!
  13. I have my BA on friday and Im starting to freak out over what size I might end up. Im 161cm 48kgs size 6 my bwd is 16cm and im currently a large C/small D cup but im quite deflated after breastfeeding. I've chosen 415cc overs extra high profile and im starting to worry that they're going to be to big. Any one on here with similar measurements/implant size, how big did you end up?
  14. Hi Girls, I'm new here. Went for my first consult last week - super excited! and super comfortable with the surgeon I chose! I'm 70kgs, 5"5 (short), I have broad shoulders and chest, BW 12.5 and I'm currently a 14DD or 16D, I've breastfed 3 kids and my boobies look deflated to me but hubby and the doc recon theyre holding up well haha - my areola is still above my breast crease. I'm wanting at least 500cc's (I was thinking more like 600cc's) - the doc gave me 385cc sizers (size 4) sizers to wear for a few days - he says he's happy to give me larger but, he's scared me a little about the weight of going big! I don't think the sizers look big enough AT ALL! And I know that if I go that small I won't be happy - the more piccies of large boobs I see - the more my boobie greed kicks in - I'm 34 and I've wanted big implants since I was 15! My question is to the girls that have had the bigger implants how do you find the weight of them? Can you have a lot of time bra free? (I'm thinking of going back into stripping - I've got no cellulite or stretchmarks yay!) Also my surgeon said that he wants to go over the muscle - opinions on whether that's a good idea with a large implant would be great too?? I have spent a lot of time on here reading as much as I can - thanks heaps to all the ladies willing to share their stories - it helps heaps! xx Karma Have just figured out that my boobs have shrunk from working out heaps - I'm now a 14C - Bring on big boobs!!
  15. Hi All, I'm booked in for next week, on the 20th to have my breast aug. I'm 163cm tall and 53kgs. I'm getting 390cc high profile, over the muscle. Just wondering if I should go bigger? I don't want a stripper fake look but I don't mind if they look fake. I want them to be DD/E and worth while, and not get boob greed later on. Let me know what your thoughts are thanks. x
  16. Well April 13 was my day! Bilateral Breast Augmentation by Andrew Broadhurst of Enhance Plastic Surgery in Brisbane. I got 410cc, over the muscle, anatomical silimed furry brazilian silicone implants, high profile. I live in Hervey Bay and luckily for me doctor Broadhurst flies his own plane (yes!) here every month and consults and operates out of the St Stephens private hospital. So, no big travelling for me on the day, just a few minutes up the road and I am at the hospital. I had to be at the hospital at 6.30am with my surgery scheduled for 7.30am. Ideal! I got there a few minutes early with hubby and kids in tow (school holidays) and I went straight in to the nurse for my medical check up and sexy stockings. Even got nice new warm anti slip socks, theatre gown, dressing gown and two heated blankets. As soon as check up was done I said bye bye to the family and went to get changed. I was only in the waiting room for about 10 mins when the nurse came in and did my canula and took my bag to recovery. The anesthesiologist soon followed to have a chat and talk prescription meds. In no time Andrew Broadhurst was there to draw me up and take more pics. I was then led straight into theatre where I took a look at the clock at 7.32am. Right on the dot! All staff were super sweet and never had a moment of freaking out. Anesthesiologist put a gas mask on before telling me to think of a beautiful dream and that was it. Next thing I remember is a nurse in peri op waking me up saying "you have new boobies!" I was moved from peri op to recovery at 9.46am according to the paperwork. Not sure how long I was in actual theatre. A nurse helped me change into my clothes and gave me more heated blankets as I couldn't stop shaking. Side effect from anesthetic and I was cold which didn't help. In recovery it took me a while to stop falling asleep but they looked after me beautifully with cups of tea, sandwich and a muffin. They brought me my prescription meds all filled for me so I didn't have to worry about that (ideal!) They called my husband and I was allowed home at 11.45am Once at home I got into my ready made pillow fort (totally awesome I had in ready so you are comfy straight away) and had a sleep. Post op days to follow!

  18. Hey guys, I haven't been on this in ages - but I keep my profile up for any newbies going through the same thing. If i can help ease your worries even a teensy bit - I'm happy. I have pre op and updated post op pics and photo's of the hospital room in my gallery. I also have a thread of my overseas surgery experience from July 4 2013 detailing as much as I could in the character limit I went through recovery with a friend who had unders, so i can offer a comparison of our surgeries/recovery. Hope you're all doing well, pre and post op girls B NB: I know everyone seems to be getting breast augmentations these days and there's a lot of success stories infiltrating our research, but I went into this surgery prepared to be a warning for other girls too. I decided I would give my perspective either way, if I were to be one of the 1% of surgeries arising in "complications" (be it minor or potentially major). I count myself very lucky to have had a smooth procedure and recovery. Have a good think and consider all possibilities XX
  19. Hi ladies, I'm hoping some of you can help me! My PS liked moderate projection as he believes it looks more natural that higher projection implants. I'm stuck at 390cc with mod, but could go up to 420cc with hp! Sizers with mod had awesome side boob, but not much projection. I'm getting subfascial overs, has anyone made a decision on either one of these projections?? If so, what were your reasons? My BWD is 13cm, I'm currently a 12B, hoping for a DD
  20. Hi ladies, So the 24 Oct is drawing near and I'm freaking out a little and second guessing everything!!! Especially the fact that my surgeon wants to do overs and I'm fine with that but really worried about CC! Is there anyone out there with unders who also have been unlucky enough to get CC or is this mainly an overs risk?
  21. This is probably a stupid question but if you get overs do they sag quicker than unders? I assume they are bigger over but what are the other pro's, I love the look of them. I don't have my first consult until this Friday so hoping someone can fill me in.
  22. Hi Ladies, I have done some research on the forum about Tim Brown as I have a consult with him soon. A lot of people have pointed out he only or prefers to only go over the muscle. Can someone please verify this? I am sure a girl I know got unders with him. So I am a bit confused, if he is bias towards over the muscle I will cancel my consult. Thanks
