  1. Hello Ladeez Hope y'all having a lovely weekend and that your recovery is going well whatever stage you're currently at... I am now 6 weeks post op - woo hoo!!! AND no more post-op/compression bra 24/7... such a relief. I still have to wear it when running, dancing or at the gym for another 6 weeks until the 3 month mark - but that's fine and dandy coz those bras sure do hold my girls tight and cosy to my chest. Last night I actually slept bra free, felt a bit weird but was ok and I managed not to squish them! I went for my first post-op run this morning, only 4K, but still a nice run and a beautiful morning for it too, dragged the boyfriend along - he's not much of a runner (except for that competitive wee sprint he does right at the end!!) he's enjoyed the no running rule hahahha and he thought I wouldn't make 4K after a 6 week break - pfft he has not met me clearly!! No problems running, the new girls don't get in the way and because I was wearing my post-op bra they had literally no bounce either. I got properly fitted at Bras n Things yesterday and I am proudly measuring a 12DD I was a bit surprised tbh as I thought I'd end up a full C, so I was kinda delighted to find I exceeded expectations So of course I bought a couple new bras - photo attached so you can see. love and hugs to you all xo
  2. I have my final consult with Mark Ashton tomorrow, I spoke on the phone to his receptionist today and she told me that I will not be using a post op bra or ANY bra for the first 6 weeks of my recovery- opposite to everything I've heard, I then asked about massaging and she told me that he does not encourage any massaging... he's so highly reputed and I trust him with the surgery but this sounds odd?! anybody else have any similar experiences? stats: 22, 180cm, 57kgs, 240cc-270cc? anatomical mentors under the muscle Surgery date: 30th October PS: Mark Ashton
  3. Hey y'all 👋🏼 So im 3weeks post op and can finally have a swim. But a friend who has also had a BA said It's to early to go without the bra... I'd love to spend Xmas eve with my kids at the beach so what should I do? Swim in my post op bra (would definitely prefer not to 😆) or opt for supportive swimmers? Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas 🎅🏼 🎄
  4. Hey girls Can someone please help me? The place where I bought my first post op bra has closed! I really want another colour and one to wear to bed at night.....where did everyone in Melbourne get their post op bras from? Thanks x.
  5. I'm 15 days post op and was fitted while in hospital with my post op bras but yesterday I noticed when I took it off there was a mark on the underside of one breast, I thought initially it was a stretch mark but it was slightly indented when I felt it. I sleep bra-less and this morning when I checked, it had gone away. Have just looked again now and same spot, same side has the mark/indent on it again 😫 I'm thinking that the bra is too small, but given I was fitted by the nurse it shouldn't be! I just don't want it to leave a permanant indentation on that breast if that's even a possibility. Also my breasts are both still so, so sensitive. I can't stand the seatbelt across my chest when I'm driving, and sometimes even my top is irritating and makes them feel tender, despite them bej g super numb at the same time - when does this feeling go away?!?
  6. Just purchased my Carefix Bella post op bra from bodyment over the phone, the service was great and the best price so far! If you are looking for Carefix post op bra, please visit www.bodyment.com.au!
  7. I am heading to PIAC in Feb for my BA with Dr Narupon. I think through my research the general concensus is that PIAC will give you a post-op bra, but I hear a lot of ladies saying that taking a spare one is a good idea which makes sense. So my questions are ... 1) Does PIAC for sure give you a post-op bra? ... and 2) where did you buy your spare post op bra and what brand did you get? Ideally I'd like one with support, but one which can be easily concealed under a cami with medium sized straps. Any help is appreciated
  8. Hey ladies, Thanks to this forum i learnt about Carefx bras, i want to purchase the Anna or Alice bra in particular as a back up bra post - op. How did you guys work out what size you need? I want to buy it before the op im normally a size 10 but the nurse measure me as a 28" which is small however in terms of cup size i will be bigger than DD probably E/F. Only issue with those two bras is that i have noticed if you are a size 10 the Anna and Alice bras only go up to DD cup. Anyone on here a 10 E or F? and what size did you purchase? Another thought - what about crop tops? what size would you get if you are int the 10E/F range?
