  1. I came across this fB post in my newsfeed from an Australian based clinic. I’m curious to hear what is you’re thoughts on this post..
  2. Hey ladies, I've been MIA for quite a while, however I thought I'd create this thread now as I'm due to have a baby in around 7 weeks (eek!). My husband & I didn't have babies in our plans when I had my breast augmentation 2 years ago, but here we are. ANYWAY, I know a lot of ladies want to know what breast implants look like after babies, so my plan is to help out & provide some pics for you of my journey. Some of you can already see my before/after BA pics in my gallery, but rest assured I'll update the gallery plus this thread with before/after pics for anyone that's curious. Obviously I'm hoping that they look ok afterwards as I'm not prepared for a redo just yet! FYI I'm not breastfeeding so the pics will reflect the changes of implants during pregnancy only. Wish me luck!
  3. Hi, First time poster here! I am 26 years old, 174cm with Tuberous Breasts - less than an A cup currently. I have been extremely self conscious about the size and shape of my breasts for years. I have only just been officially diagnosed with Tuberous Breasts and was initially really upset but now I'm feeling relived to finally have a diagnosis. I had a consultation with Dr Luke Stradwick on the Gold Coast and he has suggested 295-370cc tear drop implants placed under the muscle. My only issue is that I have not had kids yet and would like to in the next few years. My chances of being able to breastfeed anyway aren't great but I won't know until it happens. Is there anyone who has been in the same position? Does breastfeeding after an augmention/reconstruction ruin the look of your new boobs?? Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated!
  4. Hi Ladies! I'm on the hunt for a surgeon in Brisbane or the Gold Coast who has good results with dual plane placement. After years of breastfeeding I have a mild degree of sagging. Luckily my nipple position is fairly good still so I gather it's referred to as glandular sagging or psuedoptosis. I'm confident I can get away without needing a lift...for now anyway! Can anyone reccommend a good surgeon who has had good results with this type of placement?
  5. Hi ladies, I was wondering if you could please share with me what happened to your breast implants after pregnancy/ breast feeding? I want to get mine done, but I want to have children in the future and am worried that will ruin them? If I could see some photos of pre surgery in comparison to post surgery that would be amazing! Thank you so much x
  6. Hi ladies Just wondering if anyone has had a pregnancy soon after breast augmentation. I'm wondering about ladies who have fallen pregnant recently after their boobs were fully healed. How did it go, did you have any problems and were your boobs dramatically changed afterwards?
  7. Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and have only just started my research so please forgive my ignorance! If these questions have been answered before feel free to just give me the link (this forum looks like a wealth of information and I look forward to reading it!). I'm 24 and will be looking at getting implants in a year or two. I've always been an A cup (although technically I think I'm a AA according to bra measurements) and it's always been my one insecurity. I currently live in Tasmania but would be willing to travel to get them done. I want a natural look and am looking to be around a C cup. I have read that getting them put under the muscle makes them look more natural, however I'm concerned that they will affect how much I can lift (I'm a frequent gym goer and like to lift heavy). Is there anyone who has been in the same boat, and what did you do? I'm also wanting to start some research into who I want to be my surgeon. I've heard Dr Flemming in Brisbane is great, but if there's someone closer to home that would be good. Recommendations and photos would be helpful I also plan on having at least one more child (I have 2 already). I'm not concerned about the breastfeeding aspect, but I'm wondering if I put on a bit of weight (working off the 10-25kg recommendation), will that affect the look of them? Will they end up sagging and needing to be redone? I guess that's all I have for now, I'm sure I'll have more as I learn Thanks everyone!
  8. Hi guys, im hoping you can help me! ive had two babies, and am suffering from separated abs. My surgeon says he can fix that, and we are talking about it next week. But being the impatient person that I am, I would love some info before then! i don't need lipo or have excess skin, I just have a stomach which won't go flat. I'm fit, toned all over and healthy, and just need the muscles to be brought together again. whats the operation I'm after? And have any of you been in a similar situation? I'd love to know costs and recovery involved. I'd be doing it with southwick, who did my boobs a few months ago. thanks in advance!!! Kit.
  9. Hi ladies, This is my first thread started on the forum- please be kind! Haha. Im 25, no kids, and looking at getting implants. I'm a bit concerned though as my hubby and I are thinking of trying for children at some stage within the next 3-5years, and I'm worried that if I get implants now, they will be ruined in a couple of years when we have kids. I know that I'll need to look at getting the implants re- done anyway - usually around then 10+ year mark from what I've read (?), but I wasn't prepared to spend so much money only to have to get them done again so soon! Definitely looking for some advice, if you've heard of the impacts of breast feeding and pregnancy on your implants? Im hoping to get unders, if that makes any difference (probably not!). Thanks for your help!!
