  1. Hi everyone, I had my breast augmentation done 4 years ago. I had small implants 255 and 225cc. I don’t have any complications. But I have a feeling the pocket was made a little to big. Or the implant width should have been wider. They are slightly different shapes and I want them to just sit there without a bra on. Perkier and less wobbly. I had an online consultation with Dr Tav and he quoted $22,000 but all up $28,000 with hospital, implants etc. If he could gaurentee they would look perfect and last forever it’s worth it as I love his work. But that quote just seems like so much money. Has anyone else has a revision with him here? How much did you pay? Mine is a simple BA revision he said, I need wider implant and pocket smaller.... I also am going to live in Europe for a couple of years as of next year. And someone said they have amazing surgeons in Italy and other places that cost much less.... Does any one have any feed back about revisions with Dr Tav or going to America or Europe to get them done? I was happy to pay 15-20k but 28 sounds extreme. But I’m willing to save up if I will get the best outcome. thanks lovelies
  2. Hi ladies, has anyone had a lift with implants wihh dr Tavakoli and gone back for a revision? I had my surgery in 2011, I believe I will need a another lift and have my implants changed. Questions; did you have fat grafting? Internal bra good results consult with anyone else cost for revision if anyone would be able to tell me their experiences. Many thanks Taryn xx
  3. Hi all. I had an online consultation with Dr Tavakoli recently and was required to send photos. I always knew there was something wrong with my breasts and that I did not like them but I was relieved to find out that there is actually a deformity. I know that might sound strange but it made me feel justified for being so self conscious of them. Anyway, I found this website after doing some research on tuberous breasts and it has been so helpful. I decided to go ahead and book my surgery for early next year. I could not be more confident with my choice in surgeon, i just love his work. He really is the boob master. So I am flying down from Perth to have my surgery. I was planning on having a consultation here locally but I have decided against it. I will be getting anatomical implants, fat grafting and fat scoring??? Has anyone else had this done? Is it more painful then normal breast augmentation? I am very excited but also nervous because this will be my first time having any kind of surgery. Ive never been under anaesthetic eeek. My beautiful mum is coming down with me from perth to look after me and she has been so supportive. She knows how much this means to me. Thanks for reading and Im looking forward to getting to know you all some more
  4. In May I went and had a consult with Dr Tavakoli, I was welcomed and made feel, comfortable Jen had answered all my questions via email. I attended the consult and knew I didn't need to see another Dr I had found my guy. Looked at them and knew what would suit me talked me through that just a lift by its self was beneficial to me and we can discuss implants after I'm healed. Due to some unforeseen circumstance I had to change surgery dates around and this was never an issue Jen just accommodated my needs. The 3rd of November I come for pre op consult all questions were answered and I was ready for surgery on the 9th. I went in to East Sydney Private Hospital 8:00 and was out put through and put in a lovely comfortable room to await surgery Dr T come in Drew all over me and then I met Dr Chung who put me to sleep. I woke up in recovery feeling excellent worried it was just all the drugs as I had read some horror stories for recovery. I'm now on day 3 nothing more them ny antibiotics and Panamax and feeling great, I can wash my hair and have all movement in arms. Highly recommend Dr Tavakoli to anyone he really is a boob magician
  5. Hi All... just wanted to post about my experience so far with my saggy boob journey. I breastfed for 2 years and went up to a 10i cup which then deflated to an empty and sad 10f-g (photos of before and after in my profile). I was hoping to have a small implant put in to fill them up and avoid the anchor scar of the BL so booked consults with Dr Tavakoli and Dr Miroshnik and also Dr ****** (advertised as cheapest implants in sydney) My first was with Dr T who was so kind, empathetic and professional and he told me my tissue would not hold an implant well and that in a year or so they would drop again, he suggested I get a second opinion with Dr m. He also said there were plenty of surgeons who would do the implant with no concern as to how they would look in a year.I then booked a consult with Dr M. Dr T was wonderful and I felt he would be an incredible choice for surgery. In the mean time I saw Dr B, who immediately agreed to do the implants. I decided straight away not to go with him.He did not have the knowledge or the professional manner that Dr T did. Then i had my consult with Dr M who said the exact same thing as Dr T, both said for my own benefit I should not get an implant. I was so sad as I was terrified of having badly shaped breasts from a lift with the addition of scars. Anyway, I booked in with Dr M as his before/after shots showed the most work like mine and i figured i couldnt hate my boobs anymore than i already did, so i went for it. I had my surgery 2 days ago. I can not even explain how happy i am with the results. I had very very difficult boobs to work with, so saggy and stretch marks and terrible collagen, I thought he could only get an ok result, but they are AMAZING! seriously! I can not believe they are actually my boobs! Granted they are still swollen so they look like they have implants in them, but the shape is so round and perfect and he kept so much of my tissue (as requested by me) so they are not too small. Anyone looking at a BL or BR could do no better than going to him in my very well researched opinion (and i am a nurse so i am extra fussy!). He was professional, kind, empathetic and an absolute artist. So feel free to friend request me to have a sticky beak at the pics if you are interested in his work because if I had have seen these before afters at the start it would have saved me a lot of time researching everyone else! haha Yay for boobies!
  6. Hi Guys, Sorry for a lack of updates lately but I thought I would firstly write about my pre-op appointment with Dr. Tavakoli and then write a new post about my big day! If any of you don't know I had to wait until the day prior to my operation to have my pre-op consultation with Dr. Tavakoli as I don't live in Sydney. Prior to this, I had spent quite a few months researching Dr. Tavakoli, looking at his work as well as speaking with the lovely ladies at his office and sending photos of myself and I knew he was the surgeon for me! Not only did he have a great reputation, he always did an amazing breast augmentations on women of all different shapes and sizes! Therefore, I booked in for breast augmentation with Dr Tavakoli late last year. My pre-op appointment was on Tuesday 24th February. Once I arrived to his office I filled out a new patient questionnaire answering all relevant questions about myself. I was then brought into the pre-op consult room filled with implants of different shapes and sizes by Abby (who I can't emphazise how lovely she was)! Abby then let me undress and took pre-op photos. After this I put my robe back on and waited for Dr Tavakoli to come and speak to me and take all my measurements. I have previously read reviews saying that Dr. Tavakoli is a man of few words, however I couldn't disagree more. Upon entering the room, he was beyond friendly and had quite a lengthy conversation with me regarding implants and my job. Dr Tavakoli proceeded to take all my measurements and immediately recommended round implants as I have very few, faint stretch marks from when I was pregnant. He said that from experience with previous patients, many stretch marks appear better with round implants. He did however, state that I was suitable for either teardrop or round implants and I tried on a pair of both. I decided to trust Dr. Tavakoli and go with the round implants. After this Abby assisted with fitting me with a surgical bra and tried on the two different size implants that Dr recommended - these were 295 UHP, mentors or 320 UHP, mentors. In the end I decided to go with the bigger implant size of 320cc. I must say that the whole consultation was very professional and Dr. Tavakoli was nothing but helpful - not only did he put my at ease about the operation the next day, he really left me with no questions or concerns! My final decision was 320cc UHP round, textured mentor implants (under the muscle). UHP were recommended for me as I am only very narrow and can have a larger size using UHP implants. Upon completion of my pre-op appointment, I was given a lot of information regarding mentor implants as well as a breast implant diary to keep and fill out regarding my breast augmentation. I felt that I left the appointment very informed and with no concerns at all! I couldn't wait for my operation the next day!!
  7. Im going to wake up with boobs... finally!! From Dr Tavakoli! I just put all my old bras in the hallway for my sisters to take (poor things have no boobs either ) someone asked me how and why a girl needs 100s of bras... well.. when your boobs havent grown since you were 10, you tend to accumulate a lot of bras over the years!! Getting tear drop, not sure of size yet (hes ordered 3 sizes and will put the biggest that will fit! I think the biggest is 480cc and the smallest was 300something...) YAYY!!!! Oh... Im getting rhino too due to breaking my nose twice and now I struggle to breath and am in pain everyday... so im getting a double whammy!

  9. Hi girls I live in Adelaide, looking at travelling to Sydney for BA surgery. I have consultations booked for Feb with Dr. Miroshnik and Dr. Tavakoli.. I'm looking for some information from others who have travelled interstate for the surgery. Just general things I am wondering, like how long should I expect to stay in Sydney? How will I go with the flight home? Do I have follow up appointments with Doctors in Adelaide? Etc. thanks in advance x
  10. Hi! So after many years of hating my breasts & hiding them from everyone, i have finally decided to go ahead with my breast augmentation with Dr Tavakoli. I visiting Dr Tavakoli for my first consult back in April and was very happy with him. He was recommended by a close friend and also many of her friend, so i am feeling confident with him So apparently i will see him again a few weeks before the surgery date for a pre-op consult, does anyone know what this is exactly and what i can expect at this appointment? Although i have already been sized in my first consult, i am also going ask to be re-sized to make sure i am 100%. At my consult i was advised that i have really asymmetrical breasts, probably a full cup difference. Also one of them is slightly tuberous. They have a snoopy look & this is the main reason why i dont like them. I have always had to wear a padded bra/swimsuits, otherwise they look really pointy and horrible. Did anyone else have this issue? Because of this Dr Tavakoli recommended teardrop, basically to fill the lower part of the breast to make the shape more normal. Does anyone on here have teardrop & can share any before/after photos? Thanks in advance for your advice
  11. Hi Ladies! I am new to the forums (but have been following them for a while), and after years of deliberation I have finally decided I want to get the boobs I dreamt of. While I'm still short on a bit of money at the moment, I'd like to be able to get them done as soon as I have the cash!! <<excitement >> Having done alot of research so far, I am thinking Dr K Tavakoli might be a good option. What are peoples experiences with the waiting times for consultations? But what are the waiting times like from the date you make the appointment to the surgery? 1 month, 2, 3? Also, any feedback about the general waiting times for Dr M Miroshnik or Dr S Merten (who are also on my list of getting a consult) Thanks in advance! Also if you have any comments (positive or negative) about any of there surgeons. Feel free to share!
  12. Hi, I'm new to this site and have been trying to research the right surgeon. I have been set on Dr Tavakoli in Sydney to do a BA along with a couple other surgeries but after seeing an add on TV promoting specialised surgeons and assistance with breast surgery, I was referred to a Dr O'Mahony in Brisbane. She appears to be well credited and also does reconstructive work on childrenn however compared to Dr Tavakoli I can't find any reviews on Dr O'Mahony. Dr O'Mahony was extremely professional and a lot more thorough in her explanations and talked through expectations and was very informative. She is also drastically cheaper than Dr Tavakoli and from Brisbane like me which would make the logistics and after care much easier and cheaper than flying down and staying in Sydney for a week. If anyone has any feed back regarding this Dr, or any reviews/photos from her or Dr Tavakoli that would be absolutely fantastic as I'm finding it really stressful trying to decide between the two. There are lots of pros and cons for both.
  13. The most fulfilling time of my life was when I breastfed all three of my children for the first year of their precious little lives. Now eight, six and two my precious little angels give me so much joy, though the three years of breastfeeding had left my breasts flat and saggy. Being a confident individual it was difficult to come to terms with the state of my breasts. I was simply embarrassed by them, I also found it difficult to dress nicely or find clothes that fit properly. I was determined to do something about it. Living near Campbelltown I found the nearest Plastic Surgeon (Dr George Lyons) and booked to see him. I was disappointed with the level of information I was provided and the manner in which I was treated (like a number) and so did not proceed with the operation. I decided to find another Surgeon, this time I reverted to the internet and searched for “the best breast surgeon in Sydney”. Dr Tavakoli’s name came up. After reading his web site I was happy with the information that I found. The appointment was made. I was so excited I made my husband sit with me and write a laundry list of the questions that I should ask at my appointment. The day of the appointment I wasn’t feeling well, my emotions were mixed with both excitement and fear. I rattled off all my questions to Dr Tavakoli’s surprise, I’m sure he didn’t get that many questions in a year let alone in one appointment. At the end of the appointment Dr Tavakoli said that I was not ready and that I should go away and really think about it and possibly come back in a couple of weeks. I was so angry with myself and the impression that I had left. When I got home I spoke with my husband who was very supportive, so I took the couple of weeks to think about it and did as much research as I could. A few weeks later I made my second appointment, this time I was ready and determined to go ahead. Dr Tavakoli could clearly see that this was what I wanted and that I was ready. We discussed sizing and the possibility of doing a “lollipop” operation, which scared me no end. Fortunately I didn’t need to go to that extreme. He took me through the whole process and finished by saying “when you are ready we can book the procedure” my response was instant and excitedly I told him “I’m ready for your first available time slot”. I was booked in immediately for the 2nd April 2012. The day of the operation I was Dr Tavakoli’s first patient, which I was quite excited about. The nurses were helpful and nice and I was quickly dressed in the gown and waiting for the Doctor to arrive. When he arrived he took some “before” photo’s and then proceeded to draw on my chest and explain what he was going to do. He could see that I was a little scared (not from the procedure but from the anesthetic, which I have a lot of problems with after any procedure) so he made a few jokes to lighten the mood and relax me. The procedure was quick and when I came too I felt OK. The nurses once again were nice and Dr Tavakoli came around to let me know that everything went well and he was very happy with the way the procedure went. Not long after that the nausea set in and I couldn’t keep anything down. The reaction to the anesthetic had kicked in. The nurses explained to mostly my husband the numerous medications that I had to take and when as well as how and when to empty the drains and record the level of fluid. When I got home I continued to throw up for the next 9 hours. Each time I threw up I felt a significant amount of pressure on my chest. Over the next couple of days the pain subsided and I was just uncomfortable, with the drains and still being swollen. After the drains were removed I felt a lot better, however not long after I started to get a pain in my right breast which appeared to be getting stronger by the day. I started to panic, thinking that I had capsular contracture and was preparing myself for another operation. My husband tried to calm me down but the pain persisted so I booked to see Dr Tavakoli who sent me for an ultrasound. He was quick to come back and tell me everything was OK and that I only had a little water build up around my right breast, nothing that a few physio sessions won’t correct. A few sessions with the physio and even the swelling came down quickly and the scarring was almost negligible. A few more checkups and everything was going perfectly, I couldn’t have been happier. I was now off on my European holiday, happy with the way I looked and for the first time in a long time feeling confident and comfortable in my new bikinis. Now I feel good, I look great and it’s all thanks to Dr Tavakoli.
  14. Hi there, I have been for a consultation with both Dr Tavakoli and Dr Liew, and found them to be poles apart .... Dr Liew was very professional and I had his full attention for a whole hour and went through photos to get my first reaction on what I thought were good/bad boobs, whereas Dr Tavakoli was brusque and was only with him for 15 mins in total despite paying a fee for a full hour consult. That said, I think that Tavakoli does seem to be brilliant ... I am wanting to book in for pre-op consult to have them done this December and am undecided as to which one to proceed with. Would love to hear feedback/recommendations from anyone who has had the procedure done with either doctor please. I am 63 kgs, 175 tall and looking at going from a 12B to a full size C or moderate profile C (round, textured), and wanting to achieve a 'natural' look without looking like they're stuck on my chest! Would love to see photos of before and after if you're wanting to share Many thanks, Janine
  15. good morning girls, my surgery is tomorrow... eeep not sure what time yet but im counting down the hours until i start to fast. Ive started this thread to keep you all posted as i have found others really calming for me to read. So im in with dr t in sydney. I had my consult about 6 weeks ago. Ive been thinking about this for as long as I could remember but then about 2 months ago I thought stuff it and here I am. I have no kiddies yet and am 26 and am starting with an extremely small a cup. Im not sure if i could even class it as an a as they never fit. Im 169cm tall and weight roughly 56kg at the moment (it fluctuates up to 58kg.) Im pretty active person but no where near the level of gym junkie. Im not sure what my BWD is but dr t has recommended 315 or 350 cc polytech textured silicone anatomical implants. i think im going to go the 350cc as i would like a little side boob and not too much gap in the middle. Im hoping for a full c cup. All in all this week I have been freaking. Im orgainsing my house disinfecting and cleaning everything and strangely enough throwing out alot of stuff. I feel like im preparing for the arrival of a child. Im feeling ok at the moment, have my moments of nervousness or even sheer terror but I will let you all know how i go tonight. I think that might be a different story. xxx
