  1. Hi, So this is my first post but I've had tuberous breast all throughout my life and I'm really ready to do something about them. I have read amazing reviews on Dr M and I feel like he's basically the only way to go for tuberous breast surgery. Just wondering if anyone could share their story with the medicare rebate side of things? Like applying for one and how much they got (if you're comfortable sharing). I really need this as mine are quite badly tuberous so I'm hoping I can get just of extra help in the $$$ side of things. Also can anyone recommend a Adelaide doctor that would be
  2. I have been liaising with a cosmetic surgeon in Cairns who does not have any direct experience correcting tuberous breasts, which i've since decided not to go with her because of her inexperience and poor contact and communication with her office ( for example, not having emailed replied to at all or waiting 3 months for contact ect.. ect) I got my photos sent to medicare and waited 8 months for approval ( has anyone else experienced waiting this long for their photo assessments to be approved, or to get word on them?) Nevertheless, it was approved and these are the item numbers i receive
  3. Hiya Ladies, I'm booked in for my Unilateral Breast Augmentation in August with Dr Richardson. I was just wondering what other people's experience with him and correcting the tuberous breast situation. I've read on here a few things about his work not turning out so well and ladies haven't been as pleased with him because after they dropped they were very low. Can anyone share with me their experience if they've been in a similar situation please? I'm beginning to have second thoughts :S
  4. I'm looking into getting a tuberous breast correction including implants and wondering approximately how much it would cost in Melbourne?
  5. Hi Ladies, Im trying to do as much research as possible before I book my BL/BA. Ive almost always loved how big and "fluffy" my nipples are, has anyone kept their nipples the same without having the extra fat taken out? I told the Surgon that I want to keep them the same size but didn't have a full grasp on what the op entailed, now I'm thinking I should be more specific in that I like how they look normally (just my nipples not my breasts, they point to that ground and that sucks) but don't know what to expect from the op if I keep them.... Does this make sense? Sorry still trying to rap my
  6. Hi ladies, I'm keen to hear recovery experiences from anyone who required radial scoring as part of their BA. My surgeon has advised that I require lower pole scoring as I have grade 2 tuberous deformity and it will increase the amount of 'room' in the lower pole in order to accommodate the implant and increase the nipple to IMF distance. As described by the surgeon it sounds pretty barbaric, though necessary. Just wondering if I should be prepared for more post-operative pain, swelling and bruising than for a straight forward BA. I'm meeting my surgeon again next week, so I will a
