  1. Hello, just wondering if anyone has had great experience with any doctors in Brisbane in regards to lipo? I have been in contact with Ashbury Cosmetics, as I have seen their before and after gallery and was impressed. Does anyone recommend them, or any other clinics. Thank you for your time. Nasrin.
  2. Hi everyone. I am really interested in getting a mummy makeover. (Tummy tuck, breast lift, implants, brazilian butt lift etc) I am a size 6 but I've been left with saggy breasts, and a stretched tummy. I would like to know if anyone has had a Mummy Makeover overseas with any of the combination surgeries above, and who they went to and how happy you are with the results. I am not interested in anything in Australia as I am looking for a more affordable solution that will get the same results, (and performed with the same amount of hygiene and expertise) Thanks!
  3. Hey ladies! Anyone heading to Bangkok for any surgery? Im heading over by myself & would like to catch up with people if the timing works out. Im heading over approx July 3 for 2 weeks
  4. Hey everyone, Looking for recommendations on surgeons for abdominoplasty and gynecomastia post large weight loss. I've already been to see one surgeon who was personable, intelligent, upfront and honest which I appreciated and would happily go with them but I'd like to hear other people's opinions. I won't name names as it will be interesting to see if they are mentioned by anyone as a recommended surgeon! Thanks!

  6. Hi I'm really new to this forum thing, in fact this is my first ever post! I'm looking for some information about getting a tummy tuck. I'm a 32 year old mother of 2 and have a total separation of my abdominal muscles, following a transverse pregnancy (sideways). I've been going to the gym and eating well in an attempt to loose weight. I initially lost 18kg since the birth of my last child but this has now all ground to a halt as i have severely injured my back as i have no core. As in 0 core!! The physio and doctor said there are 5cms between the muscles in my tummy - it's also starting to herniate which is delightful. I have a flabby, stretched out tummy. I now have a disc bulge from just continuing on with the gym (yes i had a trainer) with no core. I thought it was just me not having great balance and it being hard. I've just finished 2 months of physio/ scans and doctors visits to stabilize my back - i'm really scared if i start back with exercise it will happen again. The physio reckons it's likely. It feels like 2 steps forward and 20 backwards. I'm stacking the weight back on now and i'm really depressed. I don't know what to do - how can i loose weight but not exercise? For 2 reasons (my back which is stable but this would really help!) and my confidence is shattered - i look and feel terrible - i want it fixed!! I've been told i need a surgical repair of my abdomen and i'm considering a tummy tuck to do this. Can anyone recommend a good surgeon in Sydney? My doctor said if i can't afford plastic surgery (which i can't and will be considering financing) i could get a general surgeon to do this? I've just done a basic google search and everyone is saying this is a terrible idea! Also open to any other suggestions/ advice/ experiences that might help. I'm sure you are all lovely but no judgement please i'm feeling pretty low and i'm not sure there is a solution right now. Thanks in advance.
  7. Hi Ladies, After breastfeeding my 3 healthy cherubs for nearly 2 years a piece, my boobs now look like sandbags!!! A girlfriend and I have been looking into going over to Thailand to get a breast augmentation procedure done and myself wanting a mini tummy tuck as well. Our husbands are wanting to come on the trip also - firstly, to have a second honeymoon but mostly because they are worried about the procedures and the unknown of overseas plastic surgery. I've been researching quite a bit and have found Somnio International Medical Holidays and Restored Beauty Getaways to be quite appealing. I've had a few recommendations of Phuket International Hospital to be quite good also. What are people's experiences and advice on getting the surgery done at Phuket International Hospital (or others recommended), the surgeons available and if you have used the companies above. Also thoughts on whether it is a good idea to use these travel companies or better to organise yourself? Thanking you in advance.
