  1. Hey all, I'm seeking opinions on pros and cons between implants being placed over the muscle vs under the muscle? I'd been really keen hear people's experience with both. Also I'm very active and work out at the gym last days so I'm not sure which one is better for people who work out regularly. And advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  2. I am about 6 Months post op with round textured implants placed under the muscle. I was very flat chested and went for 385cc.. my implants have always sat quite perky as if I was wearing a bra. About 2 week ago I was adjusting my breasts into a bra and they became quite sore, maybe I was a bit too rough. It was a similar pain to post op. Then once the pain went away I noticed my breasts have slightly more movement and feel softer. Even my partner thinks so. I’m not complaining it’s much more natural now but how has this happened? Is this normal?
  3. I was wondering if anyone has implants which 'squish' and feel soft when lying down? Is the Natrelle/Inspira 'responsive' gel SOFTER than the Mentor 'Cohesive I' ? I was told they're exactly the same once under muscle, but now I'm curious if that's really the case i figure all implants need to retain their shape in some way, but noticed some reviews where girls say they still feel soft even when laying flat. Are they just lucky? Or is it the brand/type of implant?
  4. Hi there, I'm in Perth WA, I've been thinking about breast implants for a couple of years now and finally booked a consultation and set a date but it's left me more confused than anything. I need help on deciding whether to go over or under the muscle, I initially thought under the muscle as I really don't like the fake look but having seen a few friends that have had over the muscle done and theirs are lovely and natural looking. I'm a gym bunny so have gained a lot of muscle and dropped a lot of fat over the past few years, this has left me with very saggy breasts, to the point where I cry even thinking about them. I have quite bad stretch marks in the loose skin and can use my fingers to pick up the skin and my breast, sorry for the detail just trying to get across how they are. I have quite a long chest as well so it's practically flat all the way down and then gathers at the bottom. The surgeon I went to recommended 365cc and that it would bring to between a D and DD depending on future weight gain/loss. He suggested under the muscle for future sagging but i have just been told that you can get high profile placement, my surgeon never even brought this up, is that because it isn't possible under the muscle? He also never had me try on a bra to get a feel about what it would look/feel like at that size, he just handed me a couple of silicone implants to hold up to my chest. After speaking to my friends I have a lot less faith in him? Am I right or wrong? I feel I may have rushed it a bit. Also how do know when I need a lift, the surgeon said if my areola were 2cm lower I would need one, but now sure about his opinion. Also thought about getting my areola smaller if I was getting a lift as they are very very large. Sorry for the essay, just really nervous and confused now and need help. thanks xx
  5. Thought I'd better post this for anyone that's interested and before I forget it! Stats 420cc anatomical implant unders, 10B, 2 kids,163cm, 58kg Surgery Day Arrived 7.30 and taken to share room and told first patient had just gone in for surgery so I'd have a couple of hour wait. Well there were complications in the first surgery so her surgery lasted nearly 8hours so I ended up waiting until 3pm to go to theatre then probably another 30mins waiting at theatre doors. I was very upset by about midday, having waited so long and the nurses didn't know what was going on. They were nice and supportive though. I had a throbbing headache since I'd been nil by mouth since midnight so they got me on a drip. My PS drew on me and said how excited he was, I was just worried that he'd be tired after such a complicated surgery before me! The anaesthetist hooked my drip up and started asking me about me kids and stuff until he ran out of stuff to talk about and asked if I was getting drowsy, I wasn't so he reconnected my drip with some new stuff and left me for 10mins. He came back and I was still awake so he injected some stuff straight into the tube and I was in happy land. I woke up in recovery in about 7/10 pain, they got the morphine going and got updates on my pain about every minute till it got down to 2/10. I then had control of the morphine for the rest of the night. Out of recovery and my husband and mum came to see me. It was 7.30pm by this time and they were worried about me having to wait so long, knowing what a state I would work myself into. Apparently they were both phoning the hospital from about 3pm for updates. I slept fairly well, nurses were doing obs about every hour so kept waking me but my drains weren't getting much fluid so they said I'd hopefully get them out the next day. Day 2 I stopped using the morphine around 6am, aiming to get onto oral pain medication and off the drip. The nurses took the drip out at around 8am and I was free! My breasts were in a compression vest with a layer of foam in it with boob-cutouts. The PS had left me flowers and chocolates (how lovely!). PS saw me at around 11.30 and said the drains could come out at 3pm then I could go home. I was so happy! But he said I'd have no pain relief going home and recommended panadene or panadol. The nurse gave me 2 oxycodone at 2.30 and recommended I check if any family have panadene forte laying around I could use which I'd already done and my sister had some (phew!) I got the drains taken out which I was shaking I was so nervous but it ended up being fine. It was the first time my breast were out so I got the nurse to take some photos before they got put away. I can't expose them until my 10 day post op appointment and so can't shower either. I'm enjoying hubby sponge baths though. One week today and just on panadol before bed and before I get up to morning boob which started day 4 and lasts about 10mins. Only 3 days till my boobs are released from booby prison and I get to see them! I'm getting a bit nervous cause I have no idea what they're going to look like other than they'll need a good wash. The booby prison is very hard to put clothes over so I have very little public exposure at the moment. Monday can't come quick enough!
  6. HELLO! Last week I made the final decision to get my BA done in Phuket! After breast feeding 2 kids for 2 years each am really excited. I got really down actually looking at my 'before' pics as I didnt realise they were THAT ... unflattering. I guess Im lucky as I do lots of weights and exercise that I dont require a lift. I have a window of opportunity without kids, hubby working and on my 'off ' swing so I dont have to take holidays so have booked in for the 5th January!! Not much time to count down to! The more research I do the better I feel both with location and surgeon choice. Is anyone else going in January Solo? PIAC have been fantastic and have organised everything for me. Dr. Narupon has suggested silicon under the muscle.
  7. Hi:) I just had my breast augmentation yesterday with 430 teardrop placed under the muscle. I'm 180cm tall and weigh ~ 65kg. Has anybody else got the same size implants?
  8. Heyyy, I'm just looking for anyone with approx the same stats as me so that I can get an idea of what implant you got and what cup size you had post op? Last Monday I had my breast augmentation. I got 430cc, round, under muscle. Pre op I was about a 10B or 12B. Im 62kg and 170cm. The surgeon has done an amazing job, but i'm starting to wish i went bigger Thank you xxx
  9. I think I read somewhere that you should stop chest exercises pre op if going under the muscle. How long pre op should I stop ??
  10. Hi girls. I'm new here and I'm 2 weeks post op. My signature shows my stats. I like my new boobs but I'm really hoping they get a size or 2 bigger once my pec muscle relaxes (not sure if I'm living in hope!). I've read SO much information about D&F etc but there isn't really much on the furry brazilians. I'm really hoping that the furry's do fluff a little and make mine grow a size or two!! At the moment they are still pretty hard (although softening slightly every day) and I can't push them up or together yet - with my hands or in a push up bra. I know its very early days but I am so impatient and would like ANY information from girls with furry's. I might add that I do regular weight training and I thought that my pec muscle would obviously be thicker and tighter from training and may take longer to stretch and release my implants more. Does anyone know if this is true? A friend of mine had her BA a week after me - same surgeon and pretty much same stats other than cc's - she got 495cc in both - and she has ended up at least the same size as me if not a bit bigger. I know everyone is different but I just thought I would be at least a size bigger than I am at the moment. Any information would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance
  11. Hi ladies, long time no talk from my end. How is everyone healing? I know there were a lot of September ladies! Just a refresher - I went with Dr. Piyapas at Bangkok Hospital Phuket. I got high profile, under the muscle, crease incision, 350cc left, 375cc right. Today is day 33 since surgery. So how am I liking my implants so far? I think Dr. P did a fantastic job, I had very little swelling which has almost all gone now and I’ve had very minimal pain since day 1. I am so glad I went with crease incision as opposed to the areolar incision which I was so close to getting! I’m glad cause I feel like bloody Frankenstein right now and I can only imagine it would be worst if the incisions were around the nipple staring at me every time I looked into the mirror! I’m glad I went high profile, I feel like they definitely suit my frame. I feel like I could have squeezed in another 25-50cc in but I am happy with my size regardless. I don’t know if I’m happy with under the muscle.. It is so strange having the actual implant under your muscle, every time I contract my pectorals it squeezes the implant and the whole breast visibly moves/jumps, I know it was the better option regards to lowering CC risk… But I still can’t help but think .. what if I had gone over the muscle… How am I recovering physically? I have full movement of my arms, and I can use my arms to move my body weight around, like positioning myself in bed or holding myself up – that’s no pain at all. The tenderness in my nipples has gone and only flared up again Monday because I spent time with the guy I’m seeing but I will come to that later. I do have a tenderness to the touch from underneath my nipples down to my incisions, and up the sides of my boobs. The sides I’m wondering if it’s sore cause it’s adjusting to the implant overhanging there? And the bottom of my breast because of the same reason, my breast tissue adjusting to sitting differently?? Any thoughts on this? My incisions have healed and are a dark purple line, there is slight redness around the incision and I have read that this is caused from new blood healing the site or something? Is anyone able to clarify this for me and tell me how much longer until the redness fades? (They are so ugly at the moment ) Also, I want to start using bio oil twice a day, once at night, once in the morning.. Do you think four weeks has been enough time to start doing this? How am I recovering mentally? Great, no regrets, no worries, just happiness and excitement for summer. I have to admit that it is hard with no one else knowing about it, so I don’t have anyone to talk to; moan about the occasional tenderness, talk about my incisions, talk about my excitement in how much better I look in my dresses now.. So yeah that’s pretty difficult, if you have someone you trust I recommend at least telling one person instead of keeping it all bottled up. Well actually, the whole ‘no one else knows’ was true up until Sunday night……. I’ve been seeing this guy for a little while and for the first time on Sunday I .. ahh.. spent the night haha. I was really self conscious about my incision lines cause I didn’t want him to know that I had, had the surgery, I had a bandeau on and I just tried to keep it pulled up to the bottom of my breast to keep the incisions hidden. I was feeling pretty confident that I had succeeded but as we were cuddling afterwards he goes “So how long have you had these for” and gave them a squeeze. I was so self conscious that he would judge me that I murmured “not long” and rolled on to my face, hiding in the pillows. But he is a nice guy and I know my reaction was silly cause he wasn’t judging me, he would have just noticed how ‘fresh’ my scars are and would have wanted to address the ‘elephant in the room’ haha. So I guess two good things came out of that experience, took a step forward with this guy which is exciting! And I now have someone that I can talk to about my boobs! (once I find the courage to bring the topic back up that is!) Poor guy has no idea what he has gotten himself in to, I’ll be talking his ear off! Hahaha If you can remember, in my first post after surgery, I talked about how I couldn’t get to the bathroom in time and I vomited on the floor and received some dirty looks from the cleaners, well before leaving the hospital I completed a survey and included this incident in the comments section. The other week I received an email from the hospital in regards to my survey, this is an extract from the email “For your comment about the cleaners behavior, it was sent to the manager of general support department and Non Clinical Rapid Improvement Committee. Your comment is valuable for the hosptial improvement. We really appreciate and we are ready to improve as we believe that there is no fullstop for quality improvement.” I was really pleased (and a little surprised) that they not only acknowledged and replied to my survey but they also have done something about it. That’s all I can think of for now, if you would like to see my progress just let me know and I will take some photos and upload them Much love, Sez x PS - I'm posting this at work and just before I could hit send my workmate came in and started working over my shoulder on my computer. Although I minimised the screen, she definitely must of seen the website tab name... So I guess two people know now.. Drat, really didn't want work finding out.. Oh well haha.
  12. Hi everyone 53 days and counting to my surgery!! As I'm flying from overseas to have my surgery at TCI Parramatta on the 2nd of July I won't be having my consultation with Dr Ali till the day before. I'm trying to prepare myself as much as possible in terms of sizing as I'm only going to have overnight to decide which size implant I'm going to get. At the moment I'm around a 10A/B and looking to be a 10D. My height is 170cm and weight is 60kg. Can anyone please help with what sort of cc ill be looking at? Or if you're the same stats as me I'd love some advice. I've just added some pre-op photos so feel free to have a look! Thanks :)
  13. Hi Ladies! I am completely new to these forums but really need some help! I have just received an evaluation form from dr worapong from bangpakok 9 hospital in thailand and he wants to do above the muscle implants as they will keep my breasts looking more natural and closer together. However, I've been reading everywhere online that under the muscle is the way to go, and over the muscle increases the 'double bubble' effect and more likely chance of rippling/repeated surgery. I am worried that the only reason he chose this is because it's an easier operation. I only want to go from a B to a C... Has anyone out there had over the muscle from dr worapong? or have anything to say about over the muscle etc etc? I would love to hear what you have to say. Thank you!!! x
  14. Hi Girls I am booked in for breast augmentation with Dr Tang at The Cosmetic Institute on 16 May 2013. After consultation, we decided on 460cc extra high profile, textured, round silicone gel implants, under muscle with incision under breast. Dr Tang also ordered 420cc implants in case I change my mind and want to go smaller. I am 44 years old, 58kg, 166cm, AA cup (after breast feeding 2 children). I have been looking at before and after photos of girls who have had 460cc implants and am now worried they might be too big. My original plan was to go to a C cup, but most of these girls (even those around my height, weight and cup size) ended up being a D+ cup. I want to look natural and my worst fear is ending up like Pammy Anderson! Please help!!!
  15. Hey guys! i know I'm still waiting on my consult with dr M but would love to know if your implants are under the muscle, under the tissue or dual plane? Or if your surgeon has recommended one... i am having a debate with with partner and he thinks going under the muscle is the worst decision you can make as I go to gym every night and do weights most nights... (Just to stay toned I'm not all muscley) hehe so yes please shed some light for me and how do they go when working out? Any comments would be greatly appreciated I am an A cup if not AA so I think I would have to at least go dual plane so the implants don't show thru :/ (I know there's a word for that, I'm still learning haha) thanks all Big Red x:o

  17. Hi girls! I was just wondering what positioning did you ladies choose? Under the muscle or over the muscle and why?
  18. Has anyone gone from implants above the muscle to implants below the muscle. What was difference in recovery like, were you happy with the outcome
  19. Hi Ladies, So I have my BA booked for the 14th Dec and I'm so excited! The only thing I'm worried about is what size to go! I'm a tiny size 6 and my ps have suggested a 325cc on my right 350cc on the left under the muscle! I don't know if I should stick to the 325cc on the right thought because I'm going under I have heard you lose a bit of the size but then because I'm so small I don't want to look HUGE and ridiculous! Any help or advice would be much appreciated!
