  1. The following is my BA experience...hope it helps someone else wondering what to expect, just like I was when I came across this incredible forum I will apologise upfront that this will be extremely long... I was due at the Hurstville Surgery Centre at 8.30am on Friday, 10th January. I live on the central coast and had decided to get the train down (thanks for the idea Merlin) so I could just chill listening to music and then my husband could come to collect me leaving our two little ones with a friend. Did I get to bed early to get a good night's sleep? No! I was still packing my bag at 11pm lol Then once I got into bed I set my alarm for 5.30am and then promptly woke my sleeping husband for one last hoorah...well who knows how long I'd have to wait afterwards right!? So, got to sleep around midnight and woke at 5am. Felt so calm and happy during the train trip. Arrived at the hospital and it was a ghost town. Just me and the male receptionist. Lucky if I waited 5mins before a lovely nurse came to collect me. Went through my forms, took my temp and BP and got my ID tags for wrist and ankle. Then she led me to my waiting room on the ward where I changed into the sexy gown, booties and cap (just left knickers on). Idled away the time texting my husband, close friends and family. Suddenly it was time to get wheeled into the room just outside the operating theatre. Dr Rastogi was still finishing up with his first patient. Turns out the hospital had only reopened the day before and it was just Dr Rastogi in that day with 3 BA's to do. I was the middle one. Because it was so quiet the nurse told me that my husband could come in with me as soon as I was awake. Next I met Andrew, the anaesthetist, who was lovely. He explained what he would do and what post-op meds I would take followed by a bit of general chit chat. I started to get a little bit nervous in the next 5-10mins and then Dr Rastogi walked through the theatre doors with his warm gentle smile and I immediately felt calm again. I asked him some more questions and he really does make you feel like he has all the time in the world for you. He took some pre-op photos and remeasured my BWD. We had chosen 400cc XHP in my consult, but also ordered 360cc XHP as a backup. After remeasuring me he said he was going to use the 360's as I didn't have much leeway widthways and the implants tend to expand a little once they settle. This may not be an issue for some people, but as I have very little natural breast tissue and was concerned about implant detection on the sides (particularly as I was getting brazilians), he opted for the narrower of the two implants. FYI - my BWD is 12.9 and the implants were 12.3 and 12.8cm respectively. I told him I trusted him and, as the sizes are quite similar, I just wanted whichever one would be best for me. Andrew came back out and injected into my left arm (elbow crease) and then directed me to walk in to theatre. I think there were 5 or 6 people. I hopped on the bed under a warm inflatable blanket thing. There were two bright lights up above, but they were multiple colours (they reminded me of a rainbow) and a good song was playing. Everyone seemed happy and I remember feeling like I was smiling like a Cheshire Cat, but I couldn't get the smile off my face (I tried!). Then Andrew helped me take my left arm out of my gown so he could get a line in and Dr Rastogi helped me take my right arm out of my gown. I was unsure where I was supposed to lay that arm...he grabbed my hand in both of his and said this hand is for me. He smiled at me and I smiled back and then I started waking up in recovery. I hadn't even realised the anaesthetist had obviously already given me something!! I have no idea what I was saying to the two nurses...think I was asking if I'd been snoring and then talking about my favourite breakfast haha I was struggling to stay awake, but felt fine besides that. They moved me to a reclining chair and then my husband came in. I thought it was around 1.30pm. They mentioned getting me a sandwich and I told them I'm GF (they'd forgotten to check my dietary requirements). I then asked where the bathroom was and walked off to go pee. All of the nurses were so lovely and one of them raided her own locker to find something I could eat I had some cheese on a couple of corn thins, a piece of chicken out of a sandwich and an apple juice. Dr Rastogi then came to check on me and said they would go through lots of changes and softening up over the next three months, but said they should look pretty decent in a couple of weeks. He then asked if he could take a look and said actually they look pretty good now lol My husband quickly concurred with that statement after he left Then I got dressed and we left. It was already at least 3pm somehow. I used a pillow for the drive home (thank you Libby) and we were back on the coast before I knew it. I have had no pain besides a bit of a sore back on Saturday. I haven't taken any of the panadeine forte prescribed. I have an antibiotic twice daily, an anti inflammatory, Valium before bed (which doesn't seem to do anything?) and panadol 2-3 times per day. I took my tape off my incisions in the shower on Sunday morning and this morning (Tuesday) is the first time that it feels a little tender (on LHS - maybe some numbness is starting to subside?). I have some swelling and a bloated tummy, but haven't had any bruising yet. My incisions look a little red and feel a bit bumpy in parts. I am allowed to reach arms above head, wash my hair etc. I can only wear a singlet/bandeau for the first three weeks, then softcup bras. I am comfortable on my back (I am a tummy sleeper), but is not easy to fall asleep in that position. Bit of pressure on my chest when I wake up in the morning. Only negative thing (besides that boobs are numb and warm, so feel weird) is I get a bit lightheaded and weak every now and then - eat some Vegemite toast and lie down and all good. Well that's all I can think of (thank god you say if you're still with me!). I am prone to anxiety and quite an indecisive person (what if this, what if that), but I can honestly say that I felt excited about my decision the whole morning and right before I went into theatre I thought "Let's do this!!". So my advice is do your research and make sure this is what you really want and you won't look back. Thank you to everyone that has helped me during this journey (particularly M10972). There are many on here that I have never communicated directly with, but have been kind enough to provide their stories, issues, concerns on here for others to read. This forum has helped me so much and I wish everyone who takes the plunge in the future a positive experience like I've had so far and a speedy recovery xox
  2. Hi ladies! I had my boobies done in September 2015... I was paranoid I would be going too big with 505cc moderates.... I am 6 foot tall & weigh an athletic 80-85kgs. My surgeon tried to push my to the 565's but I was worried about them making me look fat. Straight away after the op I wished I went bigger!! I actually re-booked in to go up to the 625cc xhp's a week after my op but then freaked out and cancelled it, thinking it would be best to let my 505's settle. 9 months on and everyone is obsessed with my boobs, my friends are all jealous, they look big and super natural... but I still wish I went bigger and want that semi "fake" look, which no one else seems to understand! and it's weird because I never thought I'd want big fake tits. ANYWAY, my surgeon is an absolute legend & I am going back in on Wednesday to get 700 or 750cc XHP's!! He says I could go up to 800's even but I won't do that. I like to exercise a lot and that is a concern for me. I have not told many people because I know they will try talk me out of it... But I am tall and I think they will look amazing! Just wondering if anyone else with similar stats has done a similar upgrade? Thanks xx
  3. Does anyone have pics of 470cc XHP unders that they would like to share with me? 😊 Im having trouble finding pics in that size to see what I can look forward to in the future.
  4. Well this might be a long one but I just wanted to help out any others looking at getting a Boob job done so here goes. I'm 25 no kids yet, but planning on having at least one in about two years time. I've never had much boobs, I'm a 12a just, I'm about 55kg and 156cm tall with broad shoulders and I guess you could say I have a few curves but still thin so having a flat chest isn't ideal when you want to feel feminine or wear nice togs etc I've always wanted more so I'm in a steady relationship and happy with my life and decided to reasearch I spend months googling terms pre op info, post op info etc looking at pictures, googling surgeons. I started off thinking it would cost about 4-6k (overseas was not an option for me) I soon realised I was being unrealistic and I would really be looking at about 8-10!! This took time to get used to as it's a lot of money to spend on yourself but at the end of the day its life changing and you are the one that has to live with it so I couldn't justify going too cheap. (nothing against it I've seen they do great jobs but not for me) I ended up having a consult with Dr kim Harwood who I felt understood exactly what I wanted and made feel and my partner comfortable straight away and another with Dr Richardson unfortunately he just seemed happy to do what ever and made me very uneasy. I was confused and one is a plastic surgeon and the other a cosmetic surgeon (they both explained the difference to me very differently) I sat on everything and did more reasearch and read more stories on here of others who had been through the same surgeons I booked another consult with Dr Szalasy (sp) and another with Dr Harwood to question why Another surgeon had recommended other things. I ended up cancelling the one with Dr Szalasy and I had already in my head made up my mind to go with Dr Harwood. I had also send any question through emails with he personally responded to and promptly. It was locked in it was happening. I was booked in to get 305c, Xhp, dual, nuance style teardrop (they have and oval base, which will help fill my wide frame chest and make me more Proportionate). I had told him I wanted nice boobs where peoplego oh they're nice not boobs where people go oh wow look at her jugs. I wanted a natural look.
  5. Well ladies I'm home! Stuck with the 420cc XHP, as dr kwok said i sould get a lovely round look from them, but at the last minute switched from under the muscle to a dial plane placement to give me a bit of a mini lift Arrived at tci bondi arounf 12, there was a bit of a wait for my room to be ready, then got changed into the lovely surgical gown, booties and hairnet and had my preop photos taken, then wrapped the heated blanket around me and watched dr phil. Lol. There was about a half hr wait before the aenthetist came to see me (still no nerves at this point, just hungry!) she did her thing with the canula, then Dr kwok came indouble checkec I was happy size wise, drew on me... Haha, not something I'm used to! Got me to lift my arms, asked if I'd lost weight since our last appointment and suggested that dual plane would give me a better result and would give the girls a bit of extra lift..... Signed my life away, took out the CC warrantee. Then a few minutes more wait and the anethetist came back took me to the surgery room, a few jokes were made by the nurses, that they were my surgeons for the day.. Lol, asked if it was too late to change my mind if they wrre doing it! Then they did all the prelim checks "do you know what you are having done etc" Dr kwok asked if i wanted any type of music in particular, i said no and he ended up putting on george michaels carlesss whisper which cracked everyone up. On went the gas mask and i was out like a light. Woke up in recovery, they got me dressed , transfered me to a chair, gave me some cookies a lollipop and water, the hubby came in with the meds and they ran through the post op instructions. I didn't feel any nausea and it reaaly just did feel like someone was pushing down on my chest, no pain as such at that point. Home in bed now and will be taking my first dose of meds in a few minutes, but still only mild pain and even the pushing feeling is a lot less already. Snuck a peek from the top and OMG I have boobs lol, they look pretty round already from what i can see . Hubby is omg they are big! Lol
  6. Hi girls, I have set my mind on getting HP implants, my chest is very small and I feel Mod Plus implants wont give me the projection that I am after, as well as my anatomy not being able to carry those implant types. After continually researching (literally everyday) I have had a look into XHP implants. Does anyone know if Dr Boonchai offers this profile? Or have any of you ladies been offered them at your consult at PIAC? I think I like the look of XHP mainly because you get the most projection with a more narrow base. From the top of my head I am approx. 48-49kg and my height is close to 158cm. I am relatively short and I have no hips or waist. I compare my body shape and size to a 12 year old. Doesn't help that I have barely an A cup. Any help or info would be great. Thank you ladies xx
  7. Hello lovelies!! I'm trying to decide between 345cc and 365cc xhp rounds. My surgeon has been great but i would just like to know if anyone else with similar stats has had these, if they are happy and if i can FR for pics
  8. Hi ladies I have my breast augmentation surgery booked with Dr. Miroshnik on the 27th March! I'm so excited, I'm finally doing this! He has recommended 390g Extra High Profile rounds. I told him I wanted perky boobs, as mine already are, with nice side boob and fullness. I'm currently an A cup, wanting to go to a D, and he said these will give me a full D. Now, what is worrying me is the XHP. I don't know what to expect to be honest. I don't want to look fake, but he assured me they wouldn't. I had another look at his before and afters, but didn't find many XHP rounds that I could compare. So if any of you girls would be happy to show me your pictures, even if you only have high profile, I would really appreciate it. At first I was like, yes, awesome! But now I'm getting nervous. I guess that's normal. I just want to have nice cleavage, perky boobs but also be able to put on a nice bra and push them up and together, if you know what I mean! Also, I will be travelling from Adelaide to Sydney for the surgery. My partner will be taking me, and my son will be at home in Adelaide with my mum. I've planned to stay for 2 nights after the surgery, which I was told will be fine. I'm not sure how I'm going to go when I get home, not being able to pick up my son. How long did everyone wait until they picked up their children? Sorry for the novel! I will be posting a pic later today of my current A cups, as I don't have anything on my profile yet.
