Dear All,

I am in my 20's y.o and started this thread to share my Cosmetic experience.

Tomorrow (9.01.2014) I have a consultation booked with Dr Tobias Pincock. I already paid the $100.00 non refundable booking fee back in December to secure tomorrows date.

Total consultation fee for Dr Pincock $250.00

I got a call today from one of his staff members J to confirm tomorrows appointment and advised her I don't drive and she was so nice to send me photo's and maps from and to the location ! I was quite impressed with her generosity :) I also mentioned to her I will be coming a little early and requested if I can see some of Dr. Tobias Pincock's work and she advised during the consultation he will show me.

After my consultation with Dr.Pincock I have booked an appointment to see the crew at Taylor clinic, again a fee to pay this time $50.00 non refundable booking fee..I want to have Botox injected in my forehead and jaw's and have fillers injected to contour my cheeks ( My second time doing this ) I did it last year and it felt and looked great afterwards. Keep it a secret but I think I am a little addicted to injectables! Not good tho at a young age :(

Booking fee for Taylors Clinic is $50.00

More post to come and please join in and share my cosmetic experience!!!

Been to him...one thing you will notice is how expensive he charges especially the quote I got from him in comparison to the ones I got from QLD and Melbourne but I guess all Sydney base practices are more expensive on average than anywhere else in the country.

His price quote was $4000-5000 more expensive than the other quotes I got.

Hi Bambi,

I am very sorry for the late response!

Dr Pincock is one of the top 3 Surgeons in Australia when it comes to Rhinoplasty. I do agree what others are saying he is expensive in comparison with other PS who perform Rhinoplasty. I came prepared with questions prior to my consultation as I am wanting to enhance my aesthetic looks. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction and advised the pros/cons of all the questions I asked him.

I have not done a computer imaging with him yet! I have to make a another Appointment with him and yes there's fee $100.00

PM if you want more information, I am also willing to share my quotation with you.

Hi all,

It has almost been a year since I had Rhinoplasty with Dr Pincock and I can not recommend him enough. He did such an amazing job, the whole process was a breeze and the results just speak for themselves.

I say you get what you pay for! This is on your face and not worth cutting corners on some surgeon who is cheaper

I could not be happier, best thing I have ever done. I did have two consults with 2 different surgeons. Tobi actually sits with you and doesnt just give you the nose you want he is realistic and will show what is possible with the structure of your face and what will suit your features.

Cosmetic* what's so interesting about that?

This is a legit review as it's now been a year and I can comment confidently as all swelling has gone (as it takes up to a year to see final results) no point posting about your results till your nose has settled.

It was primary, it cost all up including the anesthetist $12,00.00.

His quote was $10,000.00 but the you have the anesthetist as well

I had it done at Norwest Private very clean and friendly. He does a lot of his work there.

Hi everyone. Im looking to get rhinoplasty done early next year. I have done a lot of research and so far I can see that Pincock is a bit cheaper than the other doctors I have looked at. I have heard good things about him. The best rhino doctors will charge $15,000 (this is not deducting private health cover)

Usually ENTs charge less than plastic, so makes sense.

where did you get that info from ? Sorry I don't think that's  true ....

My ENT was only about 6K...compare to average plastic quotes all gave me around 10-20k.

I recently had an internal rhinoplasty with Dr Pincock. I broke my nose a couple of weeks ago and had a depressed fracture.

My first consultation was at Bella Vista. The staff were really friendly and professional, and the clinic was gorgeous.

Dr Pincock was also very friendly and professional...my appointment was quite brief but he was straight to the point which I liked!

I booked in to have the procedure a few days later. I received a couple of calls in between my consult and the surgery from Dr Pincock's staff which made me feel very looked after.

I bumped into Dr Pincock whilst waiting to be called into surgery. I was quite surprised that he remembered me! He is actually a very personable man and very sweet. I really felt that I was in good hands. I also bumped into a man who I saw with his son at the Bella Vista Clinic...his little boy (around 5yrs old) just had surgery and he said it went extremely well and he was very happy.

My surgery went well, and I saw Dr Pincock 3 days post op to remove a "tube" which was supporting the bone (what a relief this was lol)! Again, he was so personable.

I then had to go to The Taylor Clinic in Double Bay so see Nurse Toby for a follow up (he had to tape my nose). He was also fantastic!

My experience with Dr Pincock and his staff has been excellent. I would highly recommend Dr Pincock!

I posted this with my old cosmetic account when I was researching back in 2014!  I deactivated this account after so many 'people' with new accounts would MSG me asking me questions and when I assisted them they didn't reply or follow up.

I also had lots of questionable users who would private MSG me constantly asking about Dr.Pincock

Got annoyed and deactivated this account couldn't be bothered

Sorry I take this back as I didn't research properly back in 2014.

He's not one of the three top surgeons.

An experienced Sydney surgeon who went ahead with a female patient's nose job after she had a life-threatening cardiac arrest "failed to appreciate her life was more important than her nose", a committee has found.

Dr Tobias James Pincock has been "strongly reprimanded" for proceeding with the elective surgery within 45 minutes of the patient needing resuscitation and three defibrillations following the administration of a local anaesthetic at Hunters Hill Private Hospital.

After the two-hour operation, the condition of the woman, known as Patient A for legal reasons, deteriorated and she was transferred by ambulance to Royal North Shore Hospital.

The 36-year-old later developed takotsubo syndrome, in which there is a temporary disruption of the heart's normal pumping function.

Because the majority of cases are triggered by a physically or emotionally stressful event, such as the death of a loved one, a relationship breakdown or constant anxiety, takotsubo syndrome is also known as "broken-heart syndrome".

Dr Pincock, an ENT (ear, nose, throat specialist) and facial plastic/reconstructive surgeon and his anaesthetist Dr Kirsten Elissa Morgan, have been found guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct and reprimanded "in the strongest possible terms" by the NSW Medical Council's Professional Standards Committee.

Had I known about this back in 2014 I wouldn't have considered him for rhinoplasty or even step into his Taylor  clinics!

Did you have you’re op BA & Rhino already?

I had my breast implants explanted last year due to chronic inflammation and CC in one breast - I have to wait a little while longer to have new ones.

No rhino unfortunately. i did consult with Dr Shahidi and he said to me that he did not feel the risks of the surgery outweighed the benefits and that I had a real chance of making my breathing worse if I were to fix the cosmetic issues with my nose.
