Melbourne newbie

Hi ladies,

I'm new to this forum and I'm so glad I found it! Very insightful & informative :) I'm from Melbourne and I'm a 40y/o mum with a 2y/o daughter. I've decided to get my BA as I have always had smallish boobs, & want to look more in proportion with the rest of my body. Also a nice 40th bday pressure to myself ;) Strangely, I have a 'D' cup base atm because I've put on some weight (I'm 12 D, used to be 10D or 12C) yet my boobs are very flat & small & always have been. And yet my mum has huge boobs!! My boobs are the first thing to go when I lose weight!!! Grrr... I'm 173cm & 66kg (I was 61kg in February for my wedding!) I also have one boob slightly smaller than the other, which I hope to have corrected. I have seen Dr Mansoor Mirkazemi at Collins st plastic surgery and am very happy with him, but I am still thinking of getting a 2nd opinion. Not sure of who to see, any recommendations?

I want to go for a full but natural look that's in proportion with my body shape. I want to finally have a cleavage without a bra! But I'm not after the porn star look, lol. I loved the fullness of my breasts when I was pregnant, but that's all gone now. I love the look of round implants, but I'm seriously considering getting the teardrop 'furry Brazilians' for a more natural look. I've decided to go above the muscle because I do weight training & don't want it to interfere with the implants. I'm still not sure about what size to go, still have to work that one out. My PS said I have enough breast tissue for any type of implant I desire. His words were, '"I could put rocks in you & you will still have a great result" lol. I'm also planning to compete in bodybuilding competitions in 2016 (bikini category) & understand that if I get very lean then the implants will look huge & not in proportion with my body. Still have lots to consider & think about before coming to my final decision. Looking to have my BA late November/early December. I'm stressing a bit about taking 2 weeks sick leave from work. Maybe I could take one week? And what do I tell my colleagues when they ask why I was away? I don't want anyone at work to know I've had sick leave to get implants!!

I'm glad I've found this forum to meet other women who are getting BA. It nice to know we have others to chat to who are in the same boat as us. I only know one person who has had implants. Looking forward to chatting with you! :)

Nice to meet you Roxy roo! I've been wanting to compete in bikini Momma's with INBA for a while now. Initially I was going to compete at the all female classic for my 40th this past June, but it was not meant to be. So I've decided to get the implants now, heal, then go hard & train for a good 12 months & compete in march 2016 in the INBA rookie comp as I've never competed before and have no idea what I'm doing, lol.

With regards to PS, do your research & get a second opinion at least. I've only seen Mansoor mirkazemi so far and I'm happy with it all, but I have no idea of who else to see? Still doing my research. I'm worried if I go too big then lean out for comp, my boobs will look way out of proportion!!

I did the all female this year and I'm doing the rookie next year march the 8th I wish I already had my boobs done now so I won't have to stop training for a bit next year! So I think I will get them done a month after the show that way I will be reverse dieting and have a bit of body fat! I've already had a few consults but got told different things at each, I heard mansoor was really expensive but then a read a post yesterday that he now does brazillians and is cheaper?. Are you going to use a coach for competing ?

Hi ladies I'm from Melbourne & had my BA two weeks ago with Dr Fung in Altona. I've found him to be fantastic!

Hi danielle87 I'm from Melbourne too and looking for patients of Dr Fung as I am considering him for my revision if I can't come to a reasonable solution with my PS. Woukd you mind if I send you a FR to take a look at your results.

My advice to Snowbunny is do your research real well and only go to someone who has many HEAPS of experience and tonns of satisfied patients that you can actually talk to about their experience and see their before and afters.

After my bad experience I have learnt that, hope this helps hun and good luck

xoxo
