gem88
I can't stand my gap when I don't wear a bra I have no cleavage because they sit so far apart. Please tell me there is something that can be done about it? I need an invisible bra ha ha ha
imperfectly_lou
I'm worried about this happening to me because my BW is so small (12cm) on a fairly wide chest. Isn't it mainly determined by where your nipples are and your BW?
savag28
Heya Ladies, i just posted about this topic in the april forum, I have a wide gap as well, my base width measured 11.0 whatever that means? my surgeon said my nipples are spaced wide apart but that doesn't mean anything major. I can fit 4 fingers between my breasts... The surgeon said she will place them closer together as I have a wide sternum but to be honest I know I will still have a gap, wasn't expecting miracles! I do wish when I looked down I could see boobs, but at the moment i can't unless I look to the sides. I only had them done 4 days ago so i know they still need to settle in, the skin needs to stretch and they need to drop as they are sitting high u which is normal. Surgeon said the only way to create more cleavage is with a bra, naturally the breasts will sit wider apart without one. I just want some dam cleavage lol! tbarbie
Massaging your boobs daily by pushing them together will slowly bring them closer. I was told by my surgeon that I should keep massaging them and pushing them together until I am as close as I want them to be then I need to stop or else they will end up being a mono boob! They are very slowly getting closer but I probably won't have some nice cleavage until 6 months post op. Hope this helps xx Jjgirl and gem88
dee envy
I also had a four finger gap and used inwards massage only 4 times a day. Definately helped. Also a firm soft sport crop to keep them together at bed time x
savag28
Thanks ladies, At what stage of ur recovery did you start massaging them? and what type of massage were you doing for how long and how many times a day?
dee envy
From two weeks. Quite firmly pushing the implants inwards. As often as you can. I use to count to 100 pushing ins lol. IBR
Correct me if I'm wrong but you can get post op bras with an attached band which apparently bring your boobs closer together. I wore one to help drop mine as they were sitting pretty high and when I spoke to the lady at the surgical bra place she told me they are also used to close the gap. Might explain why I have barely a 1 finger gap. They are pricey though at $150 but worth a try if the gap is really bothering you (I wore it every time I was at home and all night) goodluck x

Oh that's good gem whose doing your review? I was given mine at one of my post op appts by my surgeon and then paid for it through transition surgical I'm pretty sure it's called in vic park. I can't find her number but it'll be on Google. Just give them a call and ask about it first in case I heard wrong but I'm pretty sure that's what she said. It's the post op bra with an attached band. Let me know how you go leah21
