MyTurnNow
Hi ladies, I live on the sunshine Coast, Queensland and wondering if anyone can recommend a plastic surgeon around here or Brisbane? I have had two babies and after breastfeeding them both my boobs are incredibly deflated. I am wondering whether I will need both a BL and BA and honestly I don't really know where to start with this whole process. Have heard sometimes Medicare rebates some of the BL, is this true? Also is it worthwhile taking out hospital cover and completing their waiting period to get some of a refund from this too? I haven't even started saving yet but am desperate to get this done. Am considering getting a loan with interest rates so low but I guess I will worry about that once I find a surgeon. Anyway, any information you could provide would be incredibly helpful. Like I said, I don't really know where to start!
pink butterfly
I know a lot of ladies rave about Dr. Phil Richardson. Two ladies at the gym I know went with him and were very happy. I went with a cosmetic surgeon - Dr. Harwood. But I think he does straight BA's and no BL's. Good luck with your journey.

donatella
Definitely Phil Richardson, one of the only ones brave enough to do 800cc on me. He pretty much does breasts and reconstruction exclusively

Cupcake85
I was told Medicare will no longer cover all or even part of a breast lift. There is no item number for it anymore. I'm furious. How dare they say it's no longer considered medical when in some cases it is done for medical reasons. It's not even the rebate part for me as it's only a small amount but the principal of it. tegs033
http://www9.health.gov.au/mbs/search.cfm?q=breast+correction&sopt=S I just looked up the mbs and there are still item numbers re breast lift/corrections if you meet the criteria?
