LizD
I keep getting these awful, red pimples between my breasts- sometimes they are just small red lumps but sometimes they are quite large & lumpy., even get them underneath my breast in the crease. I've tried to attach a picture of what it looks like at the moment but been unsuccessful. Does anybody have any suggestions on I might be able to get rid of them/make it better & keep them away? The surgeon said that the whole area has to be pimple free be fore I can have my op
Quinn
You could try washing the area with a anti bacterial soap and if you're using any creams or lotions there try to stop or change brands to see if it helps. Pimples are often a buildup of something inside the pores that gets blocked up so keeping it clean with a good soap should help. There may also be topical acne creams you could try if its particularly bad. Hope this helps. LizD
Bettybee
I've had breakouts in the past between my breasts, and just regularly exfoliating has helped me keep it all clear. LizD

I've been using Phisohex since I had my consultation late last year, it did get a lot better but the last few weeks it's broken out again . I might have a look at a few other ones to try

Thanks Bettybee! I have exfoliated in ages- which is so bad I know- so I'll have to start doing that again.
Bettybee
I'm glad I came across this topic so I can take extra care to keep the skin on my chest clear. I hadn't heard my doctor/ anyone else mention this but I'd hate to have a few spots cause any trouble with the surgery. LizD

The pimples are right in the crease area were the incision will be made- so I think it's so there's no chance of infection from them - and there's more in the middle between the breasts. And it's not like I don't take care of my skin either, I wash it with anti bacterial wash, moisturise everyday- that's face & chest area.
