After advice from PS that I need BL as well as BA, and after lengthy discussions with hubby, I am seriously considering going to Thailand for surgery and include a TT whilst I'm there.

The cost of all three there, as opposed to Aus. is so much cheaper. I can barely afford to have just the BA and BL here in Aus.

Any lovely ladies out there had all three o/s? Who did you use? Did you employ and agent/company? I've only ever been to NZ... A little bit daunted going to Thailand. Would love hubby to come with me and my 15yr old daughter. What expenses am I looking at for them to travel with me?

OMG.... So many questions... Plz help!

... if you do decide on Bangkok, make sure you check out the hospitals thoroughly... from what I've read there are a lot of negative posts on Yanhee. If I was going to go to Bangkok I'd choose Bumrungrad hospital. I've personally had a procedure there and can vouch for it, yes it is a little more expensive, but better to spend a little more and be safe rather than sorry!

John Luton a number of Perth surgeons I have contacted said they would perform these procedures together.

@ liquefiedstars I think you'll find it has a bit to do with age and general health. I had these exact same  surgeries with Dr B in January and he did them over two surgeries... I have a few more years than most on here and have (diet managed) type 2 diabetes, too much food and wine and not enough exercise over the years:unsure:. I don't know if he's performed these procedures in one surgery on others but I doubt it, he ALWAYS errs on the side of caution.

BL, BA, and TT combined would put you under a GA, for around 6-7 hours. No responsible surgeon would perform these 3 together.

I think you need to do a lot more research before commenting. I'm having a TT BL BA AR all in the one op here in Perth this week. By one of Perths top surgeons as I'm fit, healthy, non smoker it's fine. Your comments above could really make ladies second guess what their surgeons have planned even though it's fine to do. Oh and it's only a 4 1/2 hour op not 7!
