AspiretoInspire
Hi lovely ladies and gents, I had my hair chemically straightened today (not by my normal hairdresser as she doesn't do it). I asked how long I had to wait to dye my hair again (permanent) but didn't get a straight answer. I was told that I couldn't wash my hair for 3 days and had to use a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. I was also told that I could use a semi permanent after 3 days but they don't cover grey so not fantastic for me. Does anyone on here know how long I have to wait until I can have my hair dyed again (permanent). The process they did was: chemical straightener rinse dry and straighten neutraliser rinse treatment rinse dry and straighten (just in case there are other ways of doing it). Any help would be great!!!!

kia89
I just asked my sister (she used to be a hairdresser) she said it depends but safe is 4-6 weeks. I had mine done about 10yrs back and I was sure they said 2-3 weeks but my memory is sketchy back that far (and I feel really old now lol) AspiretoInspire
