CPK
I had liposuction August 2012, the doctor was great but it left me with a very uneven stomach, right side has a pocket the size of my hand that looks as it was missed. I have been emailing the doctor through john green plastic surgery Thailand, it was agreed that when I get back to bangkok I would see the doctor and it would be rectified. I flew over a couple of weeks ago and meet with the doctor, he admitted it was a mistake and would fix it at no charge, but the hospital wanted to charge me over $5000 for the operation. I couldn't believe it I had already paid about $7,000 for the first operation and had two years of not been able to wear tight clothing then airfare to return and they want to charge me!! I have since returned to sydney without any surgery to fix the problem. Please take this warning to anyone looking at surgery at bangkok hospitsl if you have any problems they will not help, money is more important then customer service. I wish I had paid the extra and got it done in sydney.
Minx
CPK I'm so sorry you went all that way for nothing... were you told by your medical tour company and your surgeon that there would be no charge (before you left)? Which hospital was it?
caterpillar
CPK, I think this may have been a blessing in disguise. I had a terrible lipo outcome by Rushapol Sdawat at PIAC and I would NEVER let him revise me. Liposuction is the hardest type of revision surgery to perform and it requires VERY specialist skills. If the surgeon couldn't do the first go, how would he do the second? Lucky for you it's just an area missed. Mine is a combination of areas underdone plus over-aggressive, overdone areas too. Still, while yours thankfully doesn't require the dreaded "lipofilling" or fat transfer, the "missed" area will still have had the cannula stuck in there causing hard scar tissue. This still makes it literally harder to redo. I can message you some names of lipo revision specialists in Aus.
