Button up tops

I was looking around everywhere for one before surgery & ended up getting a light top from kmart a couple of sizes bigger & the day of surgery I just stepped into it when I got dressed. They'd already put my post op bra on for me but I got dressed just before I went home.

this might sound like a dumb question but is it also difficult to pull up your pants after surgery? as in should i buy loose trackies or do i just have to worry about button up tops?

That's not a silly question weird things are hard after surgery things you wouldn't expect. For the first couple of days I just wore a nightie so I wouldn't have to worry about pants but anything that's easy to get down will be helpful & at least you'll be comfy if it's not an issue for you!

I no what u mean. I ended up going to K Mart, I found these really light material zip up hoodies, I didn't wear a tshirt under them, just my post op bra. Got it in a bigger size. They were perfect with trackies and harem pants around the house the first week. After that it's fine putting on things over head. Mind you I have just been sticking to loose tops and cardi's so far. I am 11 days post op.. Don't forget button up pj's also, bigger sizes are easier to get on to start with. Good luck!

Only place I found button up shirts was kmart. I looked everywhere and so glad I had them but now it's colder I would just wear a zip up jumper.

OMG pants was one thing I didn't think about before surgery, I had so much bloating none of my normal shorts actually fitted. I was wearing baggy shorts but it made it easier to pull them up because I did have a bit of trouble with them.

I found button up shirts harder to put on the normal ones!! I was fine with over head shirts from day 1

me too! couldnt put my arm back to get it on, much easier for me to go over my head. I found Dotti had some wide strapped loose fitting singlet style tops for $10 each, these are good for covering up the ugly crop/post op bras
