Too young for Botox?

Hey guys,

I turned 23 in January and I have began to notice fine lines on my forehead, between my brows, and small lines directly under my eyes. I want this fixed! But I'm worried that I am too young for fillers. I have read online that many doctors won't recommend it for someone my age. I'm also worried that if I start so young, will I need more as I get older and then end up looking like the cat lady?
I have also been considering buying retinol cream, but not sure if this can be used near my eyes? And I am also looking to try microdermabrasion but I can't use this in conjunction with retinol, and that won't helpthe skin near my eyes. Does anyone have any good experiences with either of these treatments? And what do you think about fillers for someone my age?

Hey guuurl. You nit to young for botox or fillers. I'm 23 and get botox above my eyebrows to help with crease in between the eyebrows and Iv had fillers in my lips oncE. It's actually better to start botox younger and you'll be preventing future lines.... if you just waited untill you were older to get botox you'll just have more to fix. Iv has botox like 3 times now and no one has any idea... media make botox out to be soo bad but it's temporary not permanent so if u wanted to stop getting it you can and everything will go back to normal

Only reason why people don't stop is because botox does wonders so why would you want to go back to having wrinkles etc lol. Not long ago it was announced on the news that botox isn't considered bad. It's when people go way to over the top that gives it a bad name..... I mean guys inject steroids, test etc that's all illegal yet they fine, but botox and fillers is legal and safe so should not have a bad name. Just make sure who ever your getting it done by is qualified nurse for doing it and has years experiance.

I used to get micros, makes your skin nice but I'd say you would have to get a ***** load before u noticed a dif with wrinkles.

Also have the renitol cream 0.025% and I feel like it's doing more justice for fine lines and skin texture then it is on my pimples at the mo

accepted :) I'm the type of person that researches my butt off before getting things done haha. I personally think it's made a difference but obv not dramatic and I do have a baby face :)

Yeah give the cream ago 1st then if it's not giving you the affects you want look into botox. I used to be one of those people that would put it down but actually researching it and being told by a actually nurse that it's not bad like it's made out to be made me bite the bullet and go for it and I'm sooo glad I did. Feel so much better about my crease that was between my eye brows... also love the lip filler too! I thought it would feel weird but not even!

I've been thinking of using retinol too but I'm not sure if I can on my nose since I had rhinoplasty only a month ago. I know your nose is more sensitive to the sun so it might not be happy with the retinol?! Also is it ok to use if you have dry skin? Winter is turning my skin into a dessert and even pure coconut oil isn't doing anything.

Someone posted on another thread about the cheapest place and best retinol to buy, I think it came to $27 -

Skinstitut 0.025%

www.skincarestore.com.au

They always have 40% off (use code SS40)

Couldn't agree more. The problems of botox are so hyped up! I too spent months literally just asking around and shortlisting surgeons for a single botox session, just to test out. I finally chose a nearby clinic that offered botox injections in Pit Meadows. And to this day, I haven’t regretted it. Which clinic did you finally choose? I went, and still go to a nearby clinic called Beauti-med. I first found them online when I searched for skin care clinics in Pit Meadows
