Liss
Hey is it okay to vacuum 10 days post op or did I just make a big mistake ?Do you feel ok? I'm 10 days too and starting to feel lazy and like I should get up and do the same.. sweep, mop and tidy the house.. but yesterday I tried driving down the shop and it was the worst mistake ever.. been back in bed all day and trying not to feel guilty about it... Are you in pain?
EMJ
Not in pain but kind of Sore. I didn't get far around the lounge before I started to feel guilty too and put the vac away, I was just reading about blood clots & things from doing too much to soon. Panicked I may have done something to the boobs
RH4K
I didn't do a full vacuum until 4 weeks. I had the kids do it before then lol Rustnut

Strangely, I've been able to wash my hair and shave since like day 3, and can put washing in and out of the dryer but doing so does make me sore... on the other hand, my notes from Dr Tavakoli say not stay in bed for longer at a couple of hours at a time, which means we're meant to be up and about doing light duties.. Hope I'm doing the right thing... can't wait till I jump in the car, go shopping and feel normal again!!
EMJ
I've driven once and figured I'd hold off another week for that, I might just rest now and hold of vacuuming. I'm so paranoid about every little thing I do. Liss
RH4K
I was paranoid too but being a single Mum I didn't have a lot of choice. 5 weeks PO and all seems good though. Flatty81 and Liss

From memory l left vacuuming for at least three weeks, but l'm lucky enough to have an roomba to vac for me. I would be more worried about blood clots if you are inactive and sitting or lying around all the time. Short bursts of gentle activity is good.
