BoobEnvy2015
Help! I don't know what to do. TCI sound amazing but they're different in that they sedate patients & don't use general anaesthetic. This scares me that I'm not really 'under' Can anyone tell me of their experiences? I'm afraid I'll be the unlucky one who has complications that wouldn't have happened if I had general. :S
RH4K
I've had general quite a few times and had twilight at TCI and didn't notice any difference at all ?
TallGirl
The difference is Sedation you are breathing on your own... You still "go under". The feeling is very similar although waking on twilight is suppose to be better
imperfectly_lou
As an ICU nurse, I personally wouldn't have my procedure done on twilight but I guess I always see the worst case scenario Abevemi

puppylove77
This was a major concern of mine too. However after speaking to several girls who had it done and listening to their experiences I went ahead and booked in. Had my surgery yesterday, one minute I was awake in theatre the next I was in recovery. It was great. Good luck with your decision.
BoobEnvy2015
As an ICU nurse, I personally wouldn't have my procedure done on twilight but I guess I always see the worst case scenario As a nurse, what would worse case scenario be? I read one young patient had a stroke on the table & they thought that maybe the local was injected into her lung ... Is it true you can wriggle around under twilight? My nightmare would be that I can't move but I can feel the pain of surgery happening but can't tell them

Can you tell me what the pain is like? How would you score it out of 10?
puppylove77
Hi, the pain has not been too bad at all when I am sitting around, nothing over a 2. (It does feel like I heavy weight on your chest and very tight across the boobs) I can not do anything with my arms, yesterday I couldn't pull my pants down to go to the loo or pull them up - that would send a shooting pain into my boob area. (That can be a 7-8 in pain if you move the wrong way) Yesterday was worse than today.I have a little more movement today. (Day 2). I do find sleeping at night annoying as your on an angle, my back and shoulders are very sore. Hoping for a better sleep tonight ??happy to answer any other questions.
