MezMoz
Hi ladiesJust wondering about your experiences taking arnica pre and post-op? My surgeon said not to bother pre-op and I could take it if I wanted to post-op. I get the feeling he thinks it's a waste of time (after all it is homeopathic and he is a medico!) Heather86
I love arnica ?have not had boobies done yet but it helped me with healing of c-section and really helps with bruises.i am personally going to take it starting a week before surgery and afterwards. ab1990
I didn't take it before and I picked it up on day 3 post op, I noticed a difference when I started taking it but it could also be because I was a few days post op. Either way I suggest using it.

ittybittytittys
You can get it from the pharmacy barbalicious. My local priceline has it in a tiny oral tablet or a topical cream barbalicious40
MelbGal
Hey mezmoz as you know I'm a huge believer in arnica and I had an amazing recovery and I think it was partly due to taking arnica from 2 weeks before surgery and continued for 2 weeks after. barbalicious40
BeHappy
I used arnica cream and tablets next day post op and I had minimal bruising only for short period of time. My recovery was very quick too. I would do it again as it worked for me. I think it depends on the body. Everyone is different.
Sagittarius
Silly question but I bought some arnica tablets and I am a bit confused how others have been taking it. The instructions state "2 tablets. Initially dissolve under the tongue every half an hour for four doses then use every four hours until symptoms are relieved". I gather those instructions are for acute muscle pain and bruising. I'm interested to know how others are taking this medication leading up to and after surgery? How many Tablets and how many times per day?
Newster
I didn't take arnica or any "supportive" supplements- it just never occurred to me to do so. I had zero bruising. Am thinking it comes down to surgeon technique more than anything else?

EvieY2
One of my friends had her nose done and took arnica one week pre and the week after as she was a bridesmaid 3 weeks after her op - I can honestly say i couldn't see any bruising! But who knows if that was the arnica or surgeon technique? I don't think it would hurt to take as long as your surgeon is ok with it? Newster
yeah no bruising here and no arnica used Huzzah for good surgeons and good genes! Frankly, the whole BA process is so expensive, I spent my pennies on essentials and didn't even consider the 'bells and whistles' extras! If you want it, go for it!
DanniP
I was told i wasn't allowed to take Arnica prior to surgery due to its blood thinning properties so it may pay to check with you're specific surgeon ?. I bruise really easily so i was spewing i didn't get the chance to take it. I bruised after my surgery, but nothing dramatic. I believe it depends on how hard the surgeon has to work to get the implant in Flatty81
