RH4K
My bf and I got away with about $400 for 5 days (and that was eating at a restaurant one night - we had a serviced apartment so we cooked the other nights). That didn't include cabs though as we hired a car. The medication was about $35. Hope this helps!

RH4K
Out of curiosity how much was it to hire a car?sorry for jumping in the thread lol No problem at all ? we paid $190 for the 5 days. So much cheaper than cabs as the airport is half an hour away from the clinic. We're from Perth though and found Sydney traffic horrendous lol barbalicious40
melbba
I'm budgeting about $100 per day for food and travel (not including flights obviously). Planning to just use Uber if need be .. And always have extra JUST in case.
EMJ
You won't spend more then $100 a day
Boobarella13
Hi everyone, my fiancé and I will be staying at Quest appartments at Bondi junction. I'm not super familiar with Sydney, but is it silly to get a taxi from the airport to Bondi Junction?I think that the airport is a reasonable distance from Bondi, so I'm wondering if there are other options... bdayboobies
Myself and my boyfriend are staying at quest in bondi, planning on getting the train to bondi as its the cheaper option and most likely faster then sitting in traffic! We've both been saving but I don't think we will need any more then $300 for the 5 nights we are down there for. Apart from paying for our hotel and the extra 499 at tci for cc. It really depends on what your plans are going to be once your down there x
Minnie Mouse
Cab from airport to Bondi Meriton is about $35 -$40 each way. We caught the bus to Bondi beach so cheap. $100 a day should be enough depending where you eat. There is plenty of cheap eat options all close by as in walk across the road in shopping centre food hall or right outside the bus port which is also next to the meriton. Medication was $
