First Consultation Booked - HELP!

Recommended Posts

HI everyone! I hope you are all doing well.

I have my first consult with Dr M in a month, yikes!! I'm super excited, but I honestly have no idea what to do to prepare. Can people share their experiences of what was helpful for them in their first visit, did you do anything to prepare yourself or take anything with you? I want to get the most out of my time and don't want to be a deer in headlights (which I feel like I'm going to be!).

Thanks so much ladies!

I found having a list of questions useful. Because when you are there it's easy to go blank. Having said that, at all 3 consultations that I went to, they just started banging away with information so at the end, they pretty much had covered everything anyway but it was handy to use as a guide, especially if there were any major questions you had to make sure they get covered. (highlight those ones!) I had a page of like 50 questions and I remember staring down at the page and not knowing where to look, haha.

All the best :)

I took in 2-3 pages of questions. Most were answered by the surgeon before I even got to ask anything. I compiled a list of questions I came up with after researching breast implants for a while. My surgeon was said he could tell I'd done my research. Learn as much about the procedure as you can - that way you will be able to find your own questions and have them answered to your satisfaction.
