EMJ
I started from the day I had my surgery... I was also told by the surgeon to use it 6 weeks before surgery as well. It was Vitamin E with primrose oil, the Redwin brand, comes in a tub. Make sure you don't get it anywhere near your incisions though... (Not even sure if implants cause stretch marks?!) that's the last thing I want on my new perfect perkys!! Lol unfortunately no creams or oils will stop them. And YES you can get them, I've got a fair few and I only got 390cc. They are fading very fast though. Bailey and donatella
melbba
What do we think of coconut oil? I normally use it for everything but haven't tried it for prevention of stretch marks. Bailey
natsacks
I am using bio oil and a scar cream with a massage ball on end of bottle Bailey
Bettybee
I just used bio oil for a few weeks pre op, using nothing now post op. (Except bio oil on the scars after 6 weeks)I haven't gotten stretch marks but I'm not really prone to getting them on other parts of my body either. Bailey
I spoke to my surgeon today and she said not to put anything on them, wait for my next apt in 2 weeks and she will let me know. Surely putting cream on them can't do any harm?? I know not to put cream on the scars but though bio oil or something would be good. I'm not prone to stretch marks either but just wanted to do it just incase. I've gone from a small B cup to prob a full D. (330cc overs) I guess I just have to listen to my surgeon, she did such an amazing job I don't want to do anything to change them. LaurenT
Stretch marks are mostly genetic. If you're going to get them, there isn't much you can do to prevent them. These creams and oils can make the top layer of your skin soft and supple but they won't prevent stretch marks. When you get stretch marks the deeper layers stretch as well creating small tears in the collagen. Creams and oils won't reach the layers that deep. It makes sense if you think about it. But as long as your surgeon says it's fine it can't hurt ab1990 and Bailey
Caits_Boobies
I am having a BA at TCI in 2 weeks and have been using Vitamin E cream for the last month or so twice daily. I think I will use it post op (only on the tops of boobies) then after 6 weeks I will use Bio Oil all over to help with the scar. I'm prone to stretch marks and scars but Bio Oli has helped me in the past. Please let me know if anyone thinks I should do anything different X and Bailey

At 4 weeks I'm to massage vit E cream into the scar quite roughly this motion breaks down any lumpy scar tissue and encourages healing Bailey
