EMJ
http://www.cosmopolitan.com.au/health-lifestyle/lifestyle/2015/12/mould-breast-implants/I'm really worried now about my implants.
HarpersBizzar
There are always risks when putting foreign objects into your body. I guess the best that you can hope for is that your surgeon has taken the best care and precautions that they can to help decrease the risk for you. I think also being educated that seemingly unrelated health issues after a BA may actually be caused by the implants is important too for early detection and correct diagnosis. And at the end of the day if things do go wrong you can always get them removed.
cassiedd
Did you have saline? As the woman in this story had sal8ne implants.
imperfectly_lou
Did you have saline? As the woman in this story had sal8ne implants.which would probably have a higher risk of infection as they have to be filled as opposed to silicone which is a sterile capsule
HarpersBizzar
The first case was silicon and the second saline
LaurenT
This is not nice to read at all... Although if it were something common we'd hear about it more.
EMJ
The part that concerned me the most was - "My experience in doing this for thirty years is that eventually everybody will become ill from their breast implants, unless they die sooner from something else,"

violett
Its really irresponsible of them to be so alarmist and publish an article that is going to worry people with such sketchy and potentially misrepresented sources.
