Recommend Brisbane BA Surgeons please

Recommended Posts

Whether your experience was good or bad please share it with me. I'm a total newbie at this. Anything you think you wish you had been told. Even better if you had your procedure done in Brisbane.

Many thanks ūüėä

I had my lift and implants done with Dr Richardson at Brisbane plastic surgery. Im nearly 3 months post op and i love my new boobies. He is a very relaxed guy, very cruisy which made me feel more relaxed. When i went for consult he didnt push me to make a booking for surgery at the end of it, he actually recommended i come back for a second consult after i had time to process and in case i had more questions. I feel he is a very competent surgeon and knowledgeable. I went into my consult with 3 pages of questions, by the end of his explanations and recommendations i only had 3 he hadnt answered. He has a great staff too they check up on you post op and book ur follow up appts as you go, if you freak out about size and want to try the sizers again which i did it was never a problem.

You can friend request me if you want to see before and afters of his work :)

I am 4.5 mths post op. I had mine done with Dr Patrick Tansley from The Cosmetic Surgery Institute here in Brisbane (Dr Flemming's offices).¬†Highly, highly recommend him. He was amazing. And my boobs are also amazing. ūüėĄ He does specialise in PU coated implants but I believe he would be willing to use non PU coated implants if you liked him but didn't want the PU ones. Extremely thorough with answering questions & has a very calming presence....I think the British accent kinda helps with that. Plus he is a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon as well.¬†

Good luck!!

Thanks so much for sharing girls. Would you mind me asking what you paid? And how long was the recovery time? I have a 1 year old and am wondering how long I'll need to arrange some help with him for.

I'm having a lift and implants with Dr Richardson on 26th February. Total recovery time is 6 weeks, after that you should be able to do everything as you were before. From what I've been told I'll need someone to help me with the kids for atleast a week so my husband is having 9 days off. I think he said I should be able to pick my 2 year old up after a couple of weeks depending on how I'm feeling.  But no housework for 3 weeks. Dr Richardson charges around $8990 for implants but as I also need a lift mine is around $14,500 in total.

I'm booked in with Dr Broadhurst on the 29th feb. I knew he was the one for me almost instantly when I had my first consult with him. I am borderline for a lift but have decided to go with a straight BA first. Price is around the 9K mark and was quoted around 14K for the BA/BL.

Thanks so much for sharing your recommendations ladies.

AlanaJ do you have any before and after pics as I'm going for a consultation with him. He sounds good. So does Dr Flemming.

I'll send you a PM. :)

I went through Justin Perron and he did wonders with my asymmetry. I was rejected by TB I as it wasnt a straight forward BA. I was comfortable with Justin straight up and went with him. Staff and nurses have been wonderful. I am 7 wks and can do everything pretty much but due to hurting myself my left is still needing healing time ūüėē but at 6 wks generally theres not much you cant do he said. But feel free to fr if you like, my¬†BA was $8500 but i got a special price at the time ūüėä

I am thrilled with the result. This is not even 24 hours post op. Dr Broadhurst is amazing. I highly recommend taking arinca 2 weeks beforehand. I'm already not really interested in taking my pain meds. Only very mild soreness and no bruising. My under bust measurement is 72cm and i have broad shoulders so i think I'll ends up being a 10D. You are in great hands. My biggest problem has been neausea from anesthetic and pain meds so switching to just panadol now when needed. I am a vegan who is fit stop I'm sure this helped but Dr Broadhurst did an amazing job and i couldn't be happier. Good luck with your op but i wouldn't worry..it will be fine.  Just please buy yourself some degas, fennel tea and other things to settle your tummy as otherwise this recovery business is easy.
