Dr Daniel Lanzer

I am looking into liposuction of the banana rolls (under the bum around up into the hip) and thighs.

I was very interested in Dr T & Dr M in Sydney however one never got back to me and one only offers lipo with other surgery (BA).

Reviews of Dr Lanzer all comment on his bedside mannor. I'm not phased by a blunt dr. I am more interested in the quality of work.

Has anyone had recent experience with Dr Lanzer and can detail if they are happy with the end results?

I am happy with his prices over phone consultation but really want to be set on the 'after' stories.

Who did not get back to you? Both are usually very good with that sort of thing so I am surprised to hear that.

Be careful with your banana roll...its not an area that too many surgeons like to touch too much because the supporting structures for your butt.

Have you considered having your fat that is removed re injejcted into the butt - I only say this because I too have the dreaded banana roll and the only thing that has helped it look any better is lots of glute growing at the gym.

That or wait until Kybella comes out - it is a series of injections that dissolve fat. it is approved for use under the chin but i have seen it be used with wonderful results for the bra roll an the banana roll...and you dont have to worry about damaging the supporting structures of your bum

A gf of mine saw Lanzer and the results are really good. He did a great job and she got whole body including double chin for 10k. I was going to go in for secondary lipo (I had an awesome Lipo Job done in Sydney years prior) but I wasn’t keen after our joint consult.

A few things to note:

- your initial consult will be with his assistant. He made me so uncomfortable and was the reason I didn’t go ahead. No medical quals yet asked to see what areas I wanted to get worked on. I politely declined and stayed fully dressed.

- you’ll be a day clinic which didn’t impress me. When I picked up my friend, she was dehydrated, and not in a great way. Take a friend who knows Lipo, is strong enough to demand you’re hydrated & ok before leaving, and you’ll be fine.

- the Lipo is aggressive. She had parts of her body she couldn’t feel for ages. I never had this- and am not a medical professional so don’t know the reason. She looks great though.

Having said all that, he is extremely cost effective and the results are great. Hope this has helped
