Helloholly 21
I'm just over 3 weeks post op and one breast is dropping into a more boob-like shape, while the other is still riding high with a freaking massive "shelf" at the upper pole and looks like the nipple is pointing downwards, I hate it lol I can't massage as textured, and the surgeons I went to don't use straps. So I'm just sitting hoping for the best. Looking for some peace of mind really that I'm not going to need a revision and that it's still possible for my muscle on that side to relax. Not had an easy ride of this process so far... Haven't enjoyed my new boobs one bit yet

It's two separate surgeries and the healing may differ for each one. It also depends on your dominant arm i.e. your pec muscle may be tighter on the side of your chest of your dominant arm and that means the muscle on that side may take longer to relax and release that boob into its pocket. When is your next follow up appointment with your surgeon? If you are worried call or book an appointment and tell them of your concerns and they may be able to reassure you. But at three weeks it's still really early days and not at all time to think or worry about revision. Your boobs will keep changing and settling over the next few weeks and at 6-8 weeks they may begin evening out and you'll feel better about them. I'm at 5 weeks and mine have changed and improved every week. It's hard to be patient with the process and we're here anytime you need us - take care hunny xo
Helloholly 21
Thanks @sabP. It's strange as it's actually my weaker arm that is the one that won't budge! The left has been higher and tighter since day 1 post op. I guess I'm mostly scared as I have textured implants so I feel helpless to do anything to remedy the situation as I can't massage! Glad yours is going well! Really hope there's some changes for me over the next couple of weeks. I'll probably break down and cry with relief if the left boob starts to drop! sabP

Hey hun... totally get how you feel, mine are textured unders too, so no massaging or anything, just the dang post-op bra to keep everything in place - one more week and I can finally wear a normal bra. I can take off the surgical tape on my incisions for the final time today. You kind of measure the milestones slowly step by step. I hope your boob drops soon and truly it is early days still and lots of change to come xo Helloholly
Kismet 100
I found my non dominant side was the side that stuffed me around the most Up until just recently mine seemed to be sitting weird but seems to be improving now..im around 7 months Helloholly
TheFox 101
Give it time, usually 6 months post op they will have evened up - they say that you need to look at them as two separate surgeries and therefore each breast will heal and settle at a different rate
I HaveBoobs 951
Hi @Helloholly im 9 wpo and i have textured anitomicals, and yes my left side (this was my thicker chest muscle side) seams to have dropped more on the cleavage side making my boob look an odd shape to my right which has a more rounded look, i think we are friends on the forum so you should be able to see my photos. I am trying very hard to be patient and keep telling myself they will even out in time and like you im not allowed to massage and my ps dose not use the strap for anatomicals either.
