Elle Anderson 45
Oil (or sebum) is our skin's natural moisturizer. It is best to avoid anything drying and irritating to the skin such as alcohol wipes and over-washing, as while these may remove the oiliness initially, your skin will actually produce more sebum in response to being so dried out. It may seem counter-intuitive, but keeping the skin moisturized will cause it to produce less oil. Some people even find that applying oil (such as coconut oil) at night, makes the skin to produce less of its own oil during the day. Unfortunately, oily skin is something you may not be able to 'fix' but you can keep it under control. Blotting papers are one way to remove oil without disturbing makeup. Hope that helps xx
