Girl1999 59
I'm over 6wks post op now. I've started trying to get back into my workouts. I used to do lots of plank variations but I'm worried what it might do to the new boobs. I'm waiting for them to drop a bit more and soften up. Will doing planks make my boobs harder? Or slow d&f? Melbourne101 26
Would love to know about this too! Especially for anatomical implants. Girl1999
I HaveBoobs 951
Nope all good here, i teach CX WORX (Les Mills) 3 times a week and there is a LOT of planks and variations in the class and im fine. I did start off with just the basic plank and did some of them on my knees ( we call it a hover if on the forearms and a plank if on your hands) then as my srtength increased added somemore variations and im now back to doing a hover to plank, its where you start on your forearms and walk up to plank on your hands then back down to hover on your forearms. You should be fine to start off with basic hovers and wakling the feet in and out or a stomp or an arm reach may be on your knees for this one to start with then work uo to on your toes. Let me know how you go ☺ pink butterfly and Girl1999

I did a 4 min plank challenge everyday and used to slip in random moves through the day. Now I just do a workout at the weekend but it's not enough. Holding a plank everyday made more difference than I appreciated. I HaveBoobs
pink butterfly 1,509
I was going to say the same. Go slow and modify the plank exercises until you get stronger. Girl1999 and I HaveBoobs

Yes I had this thought too. I'm missing out the chatarungas, mind you, every yoga woman on you tube has implants, so can't do any harm? Melbourne101

I feel like I’ll be waiting at least a few more months haha Girl1999
I HaveBoobs 951
It took me a good 4 months before i could do my chatangras properly again, it felt weird for like ages but now it feels fine, but I'm also aware that i do have implants and dont push things if you know whst i mean. You will be able tr return to your normal exercise routines but it will take time. Girl1999 and sabP
Gem Newbie 0
thank you for this post, this is a worry for me too. My Surgeon said in my consultation there would be exercises you couldnt do anymore for example push ups because after time the implant would move to the side of our body!! wtf?? Yup this i true, as your chest muscles flex it pulls your implants outward so this repetitive movement over a peirod of time will push the implant outward as your chest muscle gets stronger.
