Newbeginnings
My abs are still sore after 4 months when I cough and sneeze, Mousey has suggested I call my PS which I will tomorrow. I am sooo over the pain bought a fit ball the other day to do some ab excersises with - havent blown it up yet haha but I never could do sit ups on the floor before and thought this may be a better option to get my tum working
Miss la
Hey newbeginnings My abs hurt a little when I laugh to hard or cough but nothing major just feels like I've done a big ab workout. I'm still really numb as well and don't have much feeling! Are we able to do ab workouts yet? Im back at the gym and have been avoiding my abs cos im a little paranoid and cos i dont have much feeling i dont want to injure myself. Your results are looking good xo
Newbeginnings
Hi miz lisa, yes we are allowed to do ab excersises - I was encouraged to do them after about week 3 but I decided not to as I still had an area that wasnt healed properly. They said usually by week 6 you should be back to normal - but Ive never had very good abs anyway. Ive been jogging with my dog, and I can feel that tension afterwards. Ive never been able to do sit ups on the floor either so thats why ive just bought a fit ball. Still waiting to blow that up haha, but the intention is there. Been busy recently so timing isnt very good, note to self - MAKE TIME Lets start doing abs together - we'll start on Thursday.... let me know how you go
Miss la
It's amazing how different ps give different advice. my surgern told me it takes 13weeks to heal but I wasn't sure if he meant I could start doing ab workouts at 13 weeks! Lol all this time I've been so paranoid to workout my abs incase I split my muscles back open and your ps said at 3 weeks you could start doing ab work!! Well today is Thursday... Did you start your ab work?? I have PT at 6 I'll see if my PT will let me workout my abs lol

Marie
Hi Newbegginings, I am new and have sent you a friend request, good to see you are doing well. I am seeing Dr Marshall in December for a consult. Praying that everything goes as i hope, I have lost 36kgs and have a hanging apron of fat and skin that is just too ugly to bear. It gets hot and sweaty underneath (tmi) and it gets in the way of exercising and quite frankly I hate it. I am scared he will say "NO - still to FAT - go away" am exercising and dieting like a mad woman. Would you recommend Dr Marshall?? did you find him friendly??
