booblessphysio
Has anyone had experience with rapid recovery BA??? I am a Physio wanting a BA but can only have 3 weeks off work which really limits my options as work is very physical involving my pecs. I will be getting surgery in Brisbane and the only surgeon I have come across that does this is dr Fleming. However he seems to mainly do rounds and I am wanting anatomical brazilians. yet to have any consultations. Any experiences on recovery, dr Fleming or other surgeons in bros that do this procedure would be very very appreciated

Adriana
I'm with lloveraggies! I had my BA with Dr Scarlett too and only last Wednesday. I believe The Rapid Recovery Technique makes a Big difference. I had Minimal pain... im talking like a 3/10 and then by day 4 i had no pain at all, and great movement too. I will also add that i only took 4 of my Endone tablets. I have taken no meds in the last two days not even panadol
booblessphysio
Thank you ladies for your replies about dr Scarlett I did see he worked with dr fleming (and think he's easier to get in to) but haven't found any personal experiences. Do you ladies know if he does anatomical brazilians or prefers rounds? I've just watched dr Flemings DVD today and he seems to mainly use round
R2102
I too had Dr Scarlett. The rapid recovery concept really appealed to me and I found it great. No drains, no bruising and most importantly for me was a great degree of movement I was able to have really early on. Washing hair etc with no problem after only a couple of days. I had 360 cc furry braz anatomicals. Dr. Scarlett recommended the anatomicals over the rounds for my frame - so from my experience he ascertained what suited me best. I'm really very happy with him and the whole process thus far, I'm now 11 weeks post op.
booblessphysio
That's great to know he recommends depending on frame thanks so much for your reply I'm decided to book with dr Scarlett for a consult now. I'm 180cm and 10aaaaaaa bra if there could be any more a's I would have it so would be concerned of round ones. Great to know ure experiences in rapid recovery were so positive
mlysndoll
My recovery was pretty speedy. I'd say at the 2nd week you will be able to get back to work. The first 2days you would need somewhere there with you, around week 1 you would be able to drive again ... etc.

Minimel
Hi girls can someone clarify for me what the Rapid Recovery technique is??
jamily
I am not 100% sure myself Minimel but one of the docs I am considering says this: The Technique involves minimal tissue trauma, minimal tissue stretching and the protection of pain sensitive structures such as the lining of the ribs. The cosmetic surgery is performed very gently and precisely, with virtually no bleeding at all. The result is minimal discomfort and an ultra short recovery time. The recovery is also much easier as there is no bruising and no need for bandages or drains. Typically, patients are able to go out to lunch with friends the next day and return to work after the weekend. The technique is of great benefit for those who cannot take time off work and those who have been frightened by the prospect of post operative pain. Minimel
Interesting, although I would have hoped the surgeons would be gentle with you anyway! Haha
