Dr Harwood - breast aug

Hi Karolina, lol I know what you mean about some of the breasts looking rock hard etc. and that is pretty much how they look for the first few months :) I had my BA with Dr Harwood just over a year ago now and have albums showing my BA progress i.e. how the breasts soften and develop over time. Feel free to add me as a friend of you'd like to view my pics. I see you are searching for a rhino surgeon also, so you can have both surgeries done at the same time - i don't think Dr Harwood does rhino... B2B

I have read a lot of rave reviews about Dr Harwood in Bris - i've had a look at his gallery though and the breasts all look SO hard and full, like they are about to explode. I'm really seeking a soft, more natural look...has anyone experienced an outcome like this with Dr Harwood?

I know Karolina. I don't like the pics on his website, but I've seen pics from girls on here and they look good.

I'm glad to hear that lol ^ I would love to see some more photos because his web gallery isn't really selling it to me.

Yeah I do want rhino done too and would prefer both at the same time, but I'm willing to do them separately if I find particular doctors who specialise in one or the other :) Just leaving all options open at the moment as I research :)

Hi Breasts ToBe,

I am having with Dr H in 7 days and I am getting a little bit nervous. I am checking out as much of his work as I can so I have sent a FR so I can view your folder if thats ok. Thanks :)

Hi, I just checked out all of your photo albums! Wow, they look really good. The first album they looked funny and kind of uneven, but they settled it really good! Were you worried at first thinking they would stay that way? I reckon I would be.. but each album they get better! What size implant did you get? Your pre-op boobs look a lot like mine..

Luckily I found this forum cause I don't know if Dr H's gallery is a very good indication of his work. When I look at the post op pics on here (especially the ones taken a few months after surgery) they look really great. I never realized how much they change in the first few months. This forum has certainly given me an education in BAs. :)

Hi ladies :) Dr Harwood (as would all surgeons) takes photos for personal records, you do sign if you will allow these to be shown/used for other doctors/patients to see. He takes photos pre-op (obviously) & I'd say again at 3 months? I have my 3 month check up on Thurs so I'll let you know ;) (I haven't had any photos taken post-op at Dr Harwood's clinic yet)

I'd say anything before that wouldn't really give them a chance to settle, as the Brazilians take longer to soften.... So, even 3 months is still early in the Brazilian softening process...

Haha yes!! Pixie there was one point in my first or second week post op when I saw how weird they looked and thought 'omg what have I done?!?' I even called Dr H in a panic about my nipples pointing in opposite directions and the un-eveness. I honestly thought they would be weird forever! Thank goodness Dr H is good at calming fanatic patients down over the phone lol. Dr H took my post op pics the day after surgery so if he does that with all/most patients that would be why his website pics aren't fabulous, because the breasts are so new and not settled :) I was reluctant to post my frankenboob pics but so glad I did because hopefully it will put a lot of girls' minds at ease - they get better and better with time :D

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought his gallery was a bit odd.. After all the rave reviews I have read on here about him I had a look at his website and I vaguely remember checking it out and not thinking much of it and that's why I never had a consult with him! Don't they realise how important their website and photo gallery is???

BreastsToBe I have also sent you a FR, I am 1 day post op and even more addicted to seing everyones before and afters now than ever!!!!

Hey,

Dr H provided me with some pictures that are of the same implant i am getting on a similar sized girl - they still looked quite tight and firm so i asked him when they were taken and he said it was at about 10 weeks ... so probably her 3 month post op appointment. He said that they would have softened more than they show in the picture but they still looked better than any on his website. I think many of the ones on his website may be quite outdated as well.

I would also say that he probably takes most of the photos at 3 months - and Bex is right, this is still so early in the softening process for brazilians.

  • 3 weeks later...

I thought the same thing when I looked at the pics on Dr H's website, they looked hard and round, and didn't appeal to me that much. Do you think these photos have been only a few weeks after surgery, before they have had a chance to settle into a more natural shape?

I haven't been on here in ages and came across this thread... Dr H took my "after" pics at my 2 week checkup!! They were so shiny and hard, I will still all hunched over from the pain too, and I was thinking "he must take more pics later" but he doesn't... he really should because it isn't a true indication of how good his work is. I see many other doctors do "glamour" shots for their website and advertisements {airbrushed and alike}, but I guess DR H likes to show a true indication of the immediate results. Probably should suggest to him he should take progression pics at around 6 months as EVERY single set of his creations I have seen are nothing short of AMAZING! I will be getting professional photos done soon and will be offering these pics to him if he ever wishes to use them :)

Oh, I find that really weird Mrs B! That he took pics at 2 weeks! & none after that?! You'd think he'd take them at the same time for everyone.... (Oh, & yes, he took pics at my 3 month check up) But I reckon ones at 6 months would look heaps better!! Give them a chance to settle etc They definitely change heaps from 2wks - 3mths+!

I go to his website from time to time just to have a look, & he does update the pics, the first set on there are new ones.... I did notice another set that were added a couple of months ago & now have been removed... But, the rest of them seem to be the same pics that were there when I first checked out his website (well, from what I can remember!)

haha... I thought so too at the time! lol {especially being dual plane too as my muscles were still so tight as well :(} But yep, no progressive pics. I noticed he has updated most of the pics on his website too actually since my last visit {that might have been a few months ago though} and mine are no longer on there {which I was grateful for because they weren't looking premium at 2 weeks haha}.
