donotdoit 0
I would like to ask a question: if you have paid a deposit on sculptra. You attend appointment, but Dr. ( Not present just on Skype) says no....do you lose your $650 deposit??? Is it legal for them to withhold it given I paid in good faith? donatella 5,801
Any ethical practitioner will reimburse this cost as treatment was refused by the clinic for a contraindication. It’s not like you cancelled the procedure
Moderator 511
I would get in contact with AHPRA for clarification on this https://www.ahpra.gov.au It is common practice for medical practitioners to take a deposit for a procedure in order to secure a procedure date, however, a patient may not be suitable for the procedure and in this instance, you should receive your money back. It would be incredibly disappointed if this wasn't the case.
