My consult with Tim Hewitt

Recommended Posts

I had my consultation with Tim Hewitt today - such a nice guy!.

I was pretty sure I was going to need a lift, but when he did his measurements,I was on the border of needing a lift. My nipples are in the right place,it's just a tiny bit of saggy skin at the bottom that he hopes is going to fill nicely with a good sized implant. The joys of having kids!.

So I tried the 250cc,350cc and 400cc on,and we were both happy with the 350cc. He is hoping that the excess skin will be filled out by implant.

Most probably going to use textured silimed implants.

Very excited!!. Just need to organise a time for surgery. Most likely around June/July.

Congrats polish girl for finding out what your having. Yes Tim is lovely. Yay for silimed and that's great that he thinks you don't need a lift. Less scars and less money. Shame I can't get away with out a lift but I needed one before I had kids :) anyway look forward to keeping updated on your journey, ill be posting wed evening about my surgery with Mark lee

Hubby wants me to have a consult with mark lee as well, just to see what he says. I'm happy with Tim,but a 2nd opinion isn't a bad thing. I'm hoping Mark says I don't need a lift too,as Tim said it might come down to me being in the table and them doing one anyway if the implant doesn't fit the way he wants it to.

Hi :) I'm new here and from Perth too, 3 kids and my last bub ruined them! how exciting for you! I can't wait to go for that first consult, that's good to hear that Tim is a nice guy, in currently trying to figure out who to see at the moment so any information is great. I'd be interested to hear how you go with Mark Lee aswell, have heard good things about him :)

Yay that is great Polishgirl! My Hubby just agreed to me having a consult with Timothy Hewitt and I applied for the free consultation online so hopefully they call me tomorrow :) What shape are you going to have? Did Timothy suggest the textured silimed implants or was that something you wanted? I am just curious because I would like to have the polyurethane implants and I am hoping that Timothy does them. I think I will be looking at July/Aug if I go ahead with it all.

How exciting for you :)

Starlight,Tim showed me the polyurethane ones, and mentioned that he didn't like using them. His preference is the silimed textured implants. I'm thinking July/August too :). Yay on getting to see Tim!hopefully you get in to see him soon :)

Yep I'm going round,I didn't say anything to him that it was my preference,he actually picked up on it. He said he saw the look in my eyes when he pulled out the teardrops lol,and he was right... I wanted round ones.

Because there is a possibility of needing a lift, that's why I thought its best to get a 2nd opinion.

Mummyof3,Tim is nice,I recommend going to see him. I will keep you updated with how it goes with Mark :)

Oh no Polishgirl, not a good sign if he is saying that he doesn't like using the type of implant that I want :/ I will see what he says when I see him. I think the polyurethane ones are supposed to be more difficult for them to put in but the low risk of capsular contracture is such a big advantage as far as i am concerned. I am not sure when to book my consult because I only stopped breastfeeding a week ago and still have some milk. One of my breasts is now quite a bit smaller than the other (bubs 'favorite' boobie) and saggier than before, I have no idea if he will suggest a lift :/ I'm not sure my Hubby will like the idea of any added costs though.

It's actually cheaper with a lift,as it doesn't just fall under the header of plastic surgery,it's then a Medical procedure, that Medicare covers a portion of that. I don't want a lift because of the scaring... He goes around the nipple, then a line from the nipple to the insertion point. If I do need a lift,my nipples won't get moved as they are in the right spot thankfully, but I would still get that line down the middle :-/

Go talk to him anyway,to me he didn't really leave many options..he mentioned all implant types, and all the insertion types, but then said all but one of each that he didn't like or didn't do ,leaving only one option of each lol. I did like him though, but I'm pretty sure his results are pretty natural looking. I don't want porn star boobs, but I don't want them looking entirely natural. Perky round boobs would suit me. Though hubby wants me to get some rediculous huge boobs lol... I want big but not massive!.

Yeah I don't want the scarring either :/ I have pale skin that scars bad as it is so I am hoping for just a BA but really think he will suggest a lift. It sounds like we want the same kind of look, I want a Dcup and round but not super fake looking... kind of like you want people to notice the nice high cleavage but not really ball looking (not posh spice or porn star ). I am a little worried that Timothy may not do what I would like but I think Mark Lee will be a bit too expensive, I am not sure who else I should go and see for a consult. I guess I will just have to see how things go and what he suggests and take it from there.

Yeah mine are more deflated than saggy apparently, though to me they look saggy, only because I know what they used to look like!.

Yep starlight we pretty much want the same thing.. I know mark is more expensive than Tim by a reasonable number, but when hubby said he only wants the best to do my surgery, and I told him about mark,he said book the consult..so who knows.

Hi Ladies,

Ive gone with Mark Lee and have so far found him great. My surgery is on 6th February, I need a lift and BA. I was quoted around $11000 + Anaesthetist Fee (around 1/3 of Marks cost) + Implant Cost of 2K. I didnt shop around for a cheaper price as I was really happy with Mark and have seen some of the work hes done so I was willing to pay the extra. Still a little confused about going for round or teardrop. The Dr recommended teardrop but cant say Im convinced... Im not sure if they will be perky and round enough!

Hey girls, I found that Tim doesn't like using polyurethane ones first time because if something happens than they are harder to take out. I really had my heart set on these and when I saw mark that's what he wanted to use. Hes not had anyone contact cc and useingva sleeve to insert them which helps sldie them in. I'm having BL and BA and all up , Imus rebates it's around $16k Tims was gonna be around $12k. It's 2k more for drs fees and 2k for anesthetic roughly. I'm not really fussed about the scars as I've had two cesarean's and the scars rare hardly noticeable now. I like the sound of tear drop because as mark explains when u tip the implant up sideways the round will loose its shape up top and the tear drop keeps all its shape because it's set that way. Great for me as all my breast tissue is south and I need all the help I can get when it comes to upper pole fullness. He also said a normal breast that hasn't sagged too much or is still perky firm just wanting size suits round and anyone having a lift will usually get teardrop.
