Weight vs Size

Recommended Posts

Hmmm.. Sounds a bit strange! I would have thought the same, that it would be harder to fit/ cover such a large implant being so small..

Weird advice for a surgeon to suggest even loosing weight on an already small frame

Whaaaaaaat?!?!

Im those stats.. And have been trying to gain weight so they look better! I was 43kgs and am now probably around the 48 mark (havent weighed myself in a month)

I have no idea why he would suggest to lose weight... Surely it wouldnt accomodate that many mlre ccs to justify putting your health at risk! And the more breast tissue then the softer and better covered theyll be!

Id be getting another consult.

Unless she was 100kgs and would lose aignificant amount of fat off her chest to free up some skin for the implants, that sounds completely ridiculous!

Yeah that is complete bs!! I would be advising your friend to seek alternative opinions. I was told that if I was to lose any weight I would compromise the look of my boobs - ie/ implant visible etc

So very strange!! My PS actually told me the opposite. Not to fit in more, but just that huge ones wouldn't look good on my small frame and if I were to put on some weight he would feel more comfortable offering me a bigger size because they wouldn't look so weird.

Did your friend ask what the surgeon's reasoning was behind this?

In addition, are you able to tell us who the surgeon is that said this?

I know i am always being nagged to eat more- having gotten down below 45kgs is really really tiny and my bmi said i was anorexic. (def not!)

I have since gained weight but still gey the "ur so thin... Gotta gain some kgs" comments and when i bluntly state that i have gained over 5kgs i get "really!!??! You need another 10!"

I find it really offensive and frustrating... Keep an eye on her for her wellbeing if you think she has an issue. But just dont nag her about it. Its probably the worst thing you can do! It really pisses me off when my friends and family do it. (my husband is a chef and i LOVE food im def not anorexic!)

Good luck :)
