obette 11
I may be a little late in my reply but I received word from Dr Thiti through Medimakeovers today that I have severe tuberous breasts and will need to have a pocket made inside my breast to fit the implant- extend the crease. I will have too have overs. He did mention I will be more at risk to rippling and capsular contraction but hey Im willing to take the risk rather than stay like this. My consult is 6th Sep and surgery on 7th. wishingforcurves

Hello, I have tuberous breasts. I'm having surgery here in Australia though as it's more complicate and requires a surgeon who has had previous experience in tuberous breasts. I had my consult in sept with Dr Luke Stradwick (Gold Coast) and I'm having surgery in January laurenj94 and Willow997

kashka 19
Thanks for your reply! how much is the procedure costing may I ask?? you must be so excited Im paying $11,300. I'm having anatomical, dual plane, moderate height, full projection implants. I still have another consult before surgery to discuss CC's. Dr Stradwick said I was a mild case so I would be able to get away without having a lift (which I'm happy about) I'm so excited, I have been wanting this so long can't believe it's all going to be happening soon Willow997
Jo31 67
Hi I have mild tubular breasts. I'm having my surgery with Dr David Theile in Brisbane in March. And it is $10500. Good luck.
Roxy Roo 29
Just thought I would let you know that if you have tubular breasts you can claim it on Medicare if they are bad enough just make sure you have a referral from your GP to your PS then your PS sends photos to Medicare , you can also claim if you get 2 different sized implants Willow997

sez_92 11
My breasts were mildly tuberous (not worth even looking into Medicare because they weren't severe enough). I'm 3 days post-op, had two different sizes (210 right and 240 left) under the muscle, and had my left crease lowered one centimetre. My areoles were very puffy before surgery and now that the implants are in and there is swelling they look even more likes "snoopy nose" but the surgeon is hoping they will look normal after the implants drop and settle. If they are still puffy though, the areoles reduction will be free as it's classed as a revision of the original surgery. good luck everyone with your surgeries Willow997
short stuff 11
Hi ladies! I had very underdeveloped, tuberous breasts and am 14 months post-op now - and loving life! I had to have my 'pole' opened up, but I was a mild case and didn't require any correction to the areola. Totally agree with Kaska - an experienced surgeon in this area is a must, and most importantly one who makes you feel comfortable and discusses everything in detail. Good luck! kashka 19
Hey! How did your second consult go?? You must be so excited! I ended up getting 360cc tear drop, saline furry brazillians under the muscle The second consult went well- we decided in 360cc tear drops, textured, over the muscle (it was going to be dual plane) but he changed his mind. I asked about brazillian but he didn't recommended them for me- he prefers the textured natrelle ones he uses. Hes going to take in 335cc too on the day but when I see him in the morning I'm gonna say I WANT the
