aquabl00 11
Hi everybody! I currently have 620cc Brazilians and am now ready for an upgrade! I have my eye on Mentor 1050cc round implants. Has anybody here had these done in Australia? If so I would love to see the results of anybody who has had larger than 800cc silicone implants done. Looking forward to your replies
aquabl00 11
I joined this forum a little more than 8 years ago ... a few months before I went for my breast augmentation. I learned a great deal from others on this forum and speaking to others here as well as seeing their results really helped me throughout the entire process - both pre- and post-op. Not sure If I'm imagining it or whether I'm just not seeing things correctly (due to the changed interface) but it seems to me as if the number/rate of posts here has markedly decreased. Are any of the "old guard" still here who can comment on posting rate now as compared to back then? Reason I say this is because I remember posting questions/topics with eagerness to get responses and then getting replies within an hour or two. I am browsing other topics under 'Breast Augmentation' and am not finding many very recent posts. So either this forum has slowed down heaps or (more likely) I'm just not seeing the recent posts for whatever reason
RockyR2013 24
Hi Aquabl00, I joined about 3 years ago-when I first started looking at a BA. This resource was invaluable, and now that I’ve finished my family, I’m all booked in and ready to go ahead. But I do notice the rate of interaction is slow... and I find myself trawling through really old posts. it’s a shame, i learned more here than anywhere else! I’m a small fry, so can’t really help with your original question. My mum and best friend (both with implants) were shocked last night when I said I was looking at around the 400cc mark 😂. My stats are similar to yours- 168, 55kg. good luck, I’d love to see your results!
aquabl00 11
Thanks RockyR2013 _ I will be happy to share my results if I can get this organised. That's part of the reason i posted this topic - was to see whether anybody had had such a procedure with 1050cc's (or over 800cc) and of course to see the results as well. I'm not 100% sure whether doctors here are allowed to use such large silicone implants as (for example) in the US they are limited to using a maximum silicone implant size of 800cc. I know for a fact that one can get 1050cc done in Europe, and am now naturally curious as to whether Australia has any limitations on size allowed, as is the case in the US. I cannot imagine why the US would have such a limit - I just assumed it was a limit based on the fact that no producers of silicone implants made any over 800cc. Now that I know that Mentor makes up to 1050cc I am really quite puzzled as to why the US would have a hard limit 0f 800cc? Usually everything is supposed to be bigger and better in the US - however that seems to not be the case when it comes to silicone implants! Another reason I think it's ridiculous and silly to have an 800cc limit is because they allow saline implants to be of virtually limitless size! Anyway, I'd really appreciate it if anybody here could weigh in on this and confirm (or not) whether sizes over 800cc are allowed in Australia. We're such a supremely over regulated country that I would have expected limits here (and not in the US) - but am hoping that my doctor would be allowed to do the 1050cc's on me. And also - to your point - I am now more sure than ever that this forum is nowhere near as busy as it was in the "old" days! I'm just wondering whether that is due to there being less women interested in breast augmentation nowdays? Or is there a competing forum that has attracted many of the would-be posters from this forum? I don't know the answer to that at this stage, but it does seem disappointingly quiet here! RockyR2013 24
I think maybe it’s the evolution of social platforms... forums are a bit more old school than other live chat type of social media. really, the US has a hard limit... legalise marijuana but can’t have women with the breasts they desire..... interesting. I digress, on here Donatella had her 800cc done by Dr Eddy Dona.. perhaps it would pay to enquire at his office, seems he is the ‘big rig’ specialist! good luck
aquabl00 11
Hi again I actually did followup with a plastic surgeon and he confirmed to me that there is no such restriction in Australia regarding over 800cc''s... the only catch is your surgeon would need to source the implants himself from overseas - as these bigger sizes are not stored in Australia. But that should not be any great problem. I am pretty excited!

cabrini 0
Motiva make a 1030cc implant I think some weird amount im pretty sure motiva has approval in Australia they do in NZ so too does polytech which can be ordered here as I spoke with the supplier I think they have up to is 1010cc in round and 1030ish in contour which is more anatomical looking. I don't get the 800cc cut off especially as 800 might be huge on someone 5ft but with someone over 6ft and athletic 800 can be lost on their frame really. A few US surgeons overfill saline up to 3000cc but they look very balloonish saline shells when filled just to capacity IMO. Dr Domanskis in the US can get custom silicone much larger but he can only perform surgery in Italy or in the Caribbean somewhere. Could be a very expensive option- that's if we can ever leave the country again 🤪
JohnBGood 0
Hi, I used to be on here as JohnB but lost my former email, my friend Anna is the proud owner of 1150cc saline implants courtesy of Dr James Gaffield in Mackay/Bundaberg QLD, so I can personally say there are Surgeons here who can and do supply XL implants. also if you see the attached sizing chart Motiva do an extra high profile 1050cc silicon implant - it might not be a commonly stocked item so you may have to 'special order'.
