Post surgical bra question

Recommended Posts

Hi ladies

I'm at Day #4 and have changed into a seamless cotton pull over crop bra top that I got from Kmart at 2 for 12! It's super comfy but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to be wearing it? My man accidentally left my 2nd post op (more comfortable one) at the hospital in Geelong which is over n hour away for me and I've been wearing the post surgical compression bra since Thursday morning! It needs a wash (I feel unsanitary) and I'm hoping I'm not doing any last damage??! My surgeon said to keep it on for 24 hours and I intend to put it straight back on when I get up tomorrow... Does anyone know if me doing this is okay?

Thank you!!!!

P.s where else can I buy good surgical bras in Melbourne?

have you tried ringing the hospital to see if they could post the one you left there to you, I have heard a lot of ladies like the kmart 2 for 12 bras but not sure how soon after there op, maybe call your surgeons receptionist and ask them,

Im sure it will be fine as long as its supportive. I only wore the post op bra for a week and changed to the ahh bra type of thing. Still wearing one to bed every night and most days. I have one "proper" bra but don't want to go spending to much just yet as I'm sure there more changes to come.

I bought 4 of the kmart bras today. They have removable padding in them and are surprisingly not unflattering. Lol. Very stretchy and extremely comfortable . They will be great for post op and sleeping. I got two black, a soft pink and a white for $24. Love it.

Thanks, I saw the target ones the other day and wondered if they were any good. I'm just not certain of the size to buy. One brand's C cup is another brand's D cup. Will just have to take a guess I suppose. 5 more weeks til my surgery date.
