symmastaia

Hi, I've had a double mastectomy and reconstruction I am only 24 years of ages and now I have symmastaia and I don't feel my surgeon can specialise in this area as it didn't work when he attempted it in my last operation. so I'd like to check out my options

    Without knowing exactly your clinical situation and what operations were done previously, it is difficult to give accurate advice about your options. It is generally best to discuss with your original surgeon about your concerns and to see if anything can be done to rectify the situation and to improve the outcome. If you have already done this and are still not satisfied, then a second opinion from a plastic surgeon with thorough experience in breast reconstruction would be my suggestion.
