I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago and had a mastectomy followed by 5 months of chemotherapy and then 6 weeks of daily radiation. I had decided right from the beginning of this horrible journey that I was going to get a breast reconstruction as soon as possible after my treatment. I was referred to Dr Alex Phoon by my breast surgeon. I also saw 2 other plastic surgeons however from the moment I met with Dr Phoon I felt comfortable and knew that he was the surgeon I wanted to use for my bi-lateral breast reconstruction. Dr Phoon is a very compassionate, caring and professional surgeon with exceptional pre & post operative care. Dr Phoon explained to me exactly what he was planning to do and never once made me feel uncomfortable to ask any questions. The results of my reconstruction are amazing and I couldn't be happier. I have now completed my reconstruction with bi-lateral nipple and areola reconstruction and once my scars fade it will be very hard to tell that my breasts aren't natural.
I am so happy that I chose to have Dr Phoon as my surgeon he has definitely exceeded all my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Phoon to anyone.
