In 2009, after many years of struggling with being overweight and always having a large bust, I decided it was time to explore breast reduction surgery.
Upon meeting Dr Choy for the first time 12 months later, I felt myself instantly relax. I had been quite nervous about undergoing the surgery but, after leaving the initial consult, I felt I was in the most capable hands. We had a number of pre-operative appointments and I was very well informed and well prepared for what laid ahead. I was very impressed with Dr Choy’s manner, professionalism and reassurance prior to the surgery.
On the day of my operation, he spent quite a while discussing the procedure, marking the sites and explaining each and every step, incision and expected result. Over the next 12 months, I travelled to see Dr Choy for my post-operative reviews and was always met with his bright, infectious personality.
I was so happy with my results, I was finally able to wear the clothing I had always dreamed of wearing and not feel embarrassed about my size. This started my weight loss journey and what was to become a firm friendship with Dr Choy. It also helped me decide to call upon Dr Choy’s services one more time……….but that’s another story!
