Are you forgetting this person came here to ask about pre surgery boob greed? And she states ‘would rather be too big then too small’. Don’t forget some of us have done this 2 and 3 times now even more. I have had more then enough sizes in me from moderate to large to give a completely subjective opinion. The only opinion you can give is your panicked state about your small ones being too large and that’s your own psychological issues because they honestly are not.
I could care less what size people go but if someone is already stressed about boob greed and wants an honest opinion from someone who’s been there don’t shoot me down when I give my thoughts on it.
Taken from Dr Revis Galley also known as the XL guy ?? I bet you don’t get the same look from the other surgeons galleries. I’ll wait
Pretty sure that’s all you’ve said the whole time is listen to your surgeon ??

Go on, put words in my mouth you’re good at that aren’t you honey!
I’ve never said there’s anything wrong with a smaller implant, not once.
But you’ve stated on more than one occasion that these smaller implants, are in fact your words: “pretty large”
So don’t try to turn this around on me mate. You’re not educated enough to support your arguments. When you have some experience we can talk. For now, maybe just bite your tongue because you look quite silly.
My statement earlier was for this girl to listen to her surgeon, and that’s what she should be doing.
If someone’s happy with their smaller implant, that’s great. I can totally understand everyone wants different looks.
What I can’t understand is you.

I think you’re genuinely misguided in more ways than one.
The issue here is you, and others giving everyone information saying these implants are large. Any person with half a bit of knowledge or experience knows they are not.
You do NOT have experience with large implants so why on earth are you commenting on every post pretending that you do?
YES we are all aware implants look different on everybody. BUT ITS NOT A LARGE IMPLANT. This is the argument we are having time and time again.
None of the photos you posted are large implants. They look lovely, and I’m sure the patients are very happy, but what point are you trying to prove? Because all you did was prove us even more right than we already were.
Theres NOTHING wrong with wanting a smaller implant if that’s the look you are wanting to achieve - that’s awesome.
But giving misguided information to someone who’s probably already scared enough? That’s pretty crappy.

All of those ladies have moderate breast tissue to start with but none are large what’s your point? I can show you 200cc that look good naked, in fact most breasts even natural look awesome naked, it’s when you put clothes on they disappear.

Photos without push-up or cleavage type tops pushing the breast in would be s better depiction. Anyone can look ‘big’ in the right top that doesn’t show anything. Still small just the right top pushing them together ?‍♀️

At the end of the day, you do you.
Majority of the women on here have no idea about sizing so they’re going to constantly tell everyone that 300cc and under is a large implant. It’s not - no matter what body size. Stay clear of those people, because it only leads you to be VERY misinformed.
Listen to your surgeon, he is far more experienced than any comments you’re going to get here (unless he is a cosmetic surgeon than I retract that statement).
If you have a small frame and you’re happy to not have large boobs after your augmentation then you have nothing to worry about. If you are wanting a significant change, I’d be having an additional consult.
But all in all, you get a lot of sh**y advice on here - the itty bitty titty comitee are always out in full force. Speak to someone with experience.

300cc is tiny, I don’t care how you justify it and on what body. If that’s someone’s choice then kudos but stop trying to make something it’s not.

Do you work in this industry?? Yes, there are some people who downsize but a lot more who want to upsize.  The majority of patients who come in for consults for revisions where I work are asking to upsize!
I don't think she's confused now, her surgeon has made the decision for her, hopefully he has her best interests at heart.
A great deal of surgeons for women who undergo their first augmentation will choose a conservative size for the patient....were you aware of this?? The reason for this is that they're trying to minimise the chance of a complication occuring.  They would also rather make you a little too small than too big for your first augmentation.  I wanted to initially go 450cc but was only allowed 350cc for my first set of implants. I've gradually increased my size to 590cc.
Eddy Dona in Sydney is one of the few exceptions to this rule, he's not conservative in sizing, even for first augmentations, you can go as big as you want.
Maybe if you're not that familiar with the industry best not to comment? I speak to loads of women daily here in Brisbane about their implants and the ones that want to revise pretty much always want to go bigger, especially younger women!
You have no experience about this so I wouldn't venture into a topic you know nothing about.

Well I do Pilates, yoga, play tennis and netball and my 590cc's still don't get in my way - I have a very active lifestyle.
I think we can just agree to disagree whether a 300cc implant can give 'nice fullness'. In my case I still needed padded bras to get any kind of fullness.
I work in plastic surgery and I've actually never come across a patient that's found their implants to be too big, but plenty have come back for revisions because they feel they went too small, and all of these woman had 350cc or less as well.
Anyway, the main thing is that this member achieves the result she desires ?

This is a very long winded response! Don't agree with you at all. 300cc is actually quite a small sized implant and coming from experience most people who get this size initially want to go bigger asap. They're unhappy with their result.
This was my first size of implant I've ever had and I'm tiny and no it didn't balance out my lower curvier backside at all   Unless you start with a 'c/d' cup naturally you're not going to get "nice fullness" with that size of implant !
Without wearing a padded bra people didn't even know I had my boobs done
I don't look shorter and thicker with my present 590ccs either so I really doubt a 500cc implant would make this person "look shorter and thicker" either.
I think you need to be careful what you write because a lot of your information is inaccurate.

Maybe read the thread from the beginning? If the patient has stated she wanted to look proportional to a lower curvy body it is highly unlikely a 300cc implant would do this!
And if she is having any doubts about the size she has now chosen she should not go ahead with the surgery - it's that simple.
The moderator didn't even suggest another sizing appointment before surgery, even though she's not 100% sure she's picked the right size now....that's poor advice.
Going "big" was never the issue here!
Ensuring she has picked the correct size for the look she wants is the actual issue here - I don't think you understand this.
  16. Thanks
Emmabree reacted to Missbolt-ons in Pre-surgery boob greed! Am I crazy?
That is a very conservative size for your stats...once the implants are inside your body they're way smaller looking than the sizers...you won't be in proportion (as in your breasts won't be the same size as your hips) if you're only going 300cc....your lower half will still be wider than your upper half...
You need to go at least 500cc to look proportional to a curvy lower body!
You can't tell your surgeon right before surgery that you need to go bigger as he/she won't have different sized implants on hand!
I would contact the surgical coordinator again and tell them exactly how you feel.
If your surgery needs to be rescheduled to fit in another sizing consult so be it - its better than paying a whole lot of money (and being in heaps of pain) for a size you're not happy with. You'll only have to pay again to go bigger in the future !!

    Hope this helps

There's an Alana somebody (a regular forum member, from memory she has a tattoo on one of her breasts) who has expressed her happiness about her polyurethane implants on 100's of threads on this forum - you should try and contact her...
There appears to be a lot more members that have had complications with these implants...
Sticky implants can still bottom out once the coating dissolves in your body anyway...so it's really not going to prevent it from happening.....an internal bra will help a lot more....it is a great that you have found an Australian PS who is skilled at this...good luck

If swelling is pushing on any external sutures or you are in a lot of pain or one breast is significantly warmer than the other I would ring/text/email your PS ASAP.
In saying that, after my 3rd BA I had heaps of swelling and my left boob (the really swollen one) felt like it was on fire....I was really worried - it turned out to be nothing, I just had more internal work and sutures done on that side.
So best to contact your PS and double-check....but it could be nothing too so don't worry

You have nothing to worry about, I have 590cc and mine are far from huge...I want to go bigger as I find them too small...lol...

Obviously I am no surgeon at all, but from your pics you have shared above I personally think your boobs look great! It sounds like what you are going through is more about the depression than your breasts. You are courageous for seeking more help with the depression as it isn't an easy road to be on. I do hope you feel much better within yourself over the next few months. I have people around me with depression and sometimes the mind can be downright mean to the them. Be kind to yourself. You have been through a lot. x
