  1. What?! That’s crazy. Not sure what’s going on nowadays 🤔
  2. @teardrop I am so happy with my revision. I went larger, from 390cc to 545cc, and from round to teardrop. The sit so much better on me - they are closer together and my upper pole is how I wanted it to be. I don’t really feel the difference so much with the internal bra but I do feel it lifted them a bit. For me the recovery was so much easier with the revision and I am so glad I did it. $28k is a lot to spend on a revision in my opinion. Ill send you a FR so you can check out my before and afters. Good luck with your decisions.
  3. I had a revision with Dr just over 18 months ago, pretty much implant size and shape change with extra things done including internal bra and an overnight hospital stay, and all up before my health fund rebate it was close to $16k. Hope this helps.
  4. @Wanting boobs when washing hands I had a little bit of flexion but when doing dips / push ups it was full flex distortion. Here's a pic of 1 - the dents, 2 & 3 - the flex distortion and 4 - my current set of implants with no dents / flex movement. While it is something to be aware of, it's not a given it will happen to everyone. If you don't have a lot ofmovement you should be ok, most girls will feel the implant when doing chest exercises but not have issues. Mine would move out to the side about 1-2 inches when doing dips.
  5. @boobiebuf I got dual plane placement again with this set. I had the first ones just under 4 years and this set for 16 months and these are perfect. I did have some extra work done with these (internal bra and flex hd) which I think helped with the movement too.
  6. I had to have a revision as my first set of implants got a dent in the cleavage and pushed out to the side from exercising. I never did weights for my chest only dips and knee push ups but I was unlucky. I even had movement when just washing my hands. I had dual plane rounds in the first time. I am so concerned now that I don't do anything that moves my chest muscles at all. It won't happen to everyone but it can happen.
  7. With my first BA I had a massage (I think) around the 3 month mark. I told my masseuse I'd had them done and she gave me a towel to roll up and put above my boobs, under the front of the shoulders when on my stomach to take the pressure off them. If you either tell them, or ask for a towel to do this it really makes it that much more comfy. I ask for a towel each time now when I get one.
  8. I use a soft crop (think Lorna Jane pammy/ regular sports crop in thick material) with the Lululemon Tata tamer on top. I've recently discovered these now come in 32E now whereas they used to only be 32DD but they appear to be as rare as hens teeth - I found one in Hawaii and one in Bondi junction store and they looked in the system and it was the last one country wide (this was 2 months ago though). I sometimes put my hands on top of mine when exercising to see the bounce factor - I'm sure people think I just like playing with myself 😀😁
  9. They've changed their returns policy recently - I think it's now 30 days so make sure you check if you think you're going to return anything.
  10. I 100% agree with @TheFox with these comments. I had rounds for 4 years and since I had no tissue and a lean chest I felt that the were literally flat chest to mount implants. I got teardrop last year and have so much more upper pole with them than the rounds. They start up higher with a slight but noticeable incline to the fuller breast. I love the shape of my teardrops.
  11. Although this doesn't affect me - I actually came across this article this morning that you may find interesting http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/beauty/cosmetic-surgery/sydney-mothers-dire-warning-after-breast-implants-almost-ruined-her-life/news-story/4599e87b21ff8fb65d875083be924b78
  12. Here's another one to add to the list. I read a review on it months ago and have been looking for it ever since and this week I stumbled across it at my local Priceline. It's only $4.99 and in a few days it's done magic for my lips that were so dry they were cracked and bleeding. It's more of a menthol / tingly type but I think it's great for its purpose. I've also been trying the By Terry over the past few weeks but don't really notice any difference to my burts bees in terms of moisture level.
  13. @Mrs Freckles I can understand the clothing claustrophobia but my personal thoughts are that you pay so much for new girls that I don't want to risk any damage to them. My mind also goes back to the old sports bra ad (perhaps berlei) about a b cup bouncing up to 10cm in a non supportive bra when running. Perhaps I'm super protective having had a revision due to exercise damage (dent in cleavage from chest work) and I don't want my girls moving a millimetre 😆 Good luck with your decisions! x
  14. A great bra works but I always double bra for any running and intense jumping exercises and you should be good. I've got 545cc (also had 390cc) and run/sprint, box jumps, burpees without any issues.
  15. I wear tigerlily, seafolly, C&M , Zimmermann and Victoria Secrets bikinis. I also tend to find the triangle do make them look faker but they tend to fit better. I am a size 8 but find I need a 10 or even 12 in bikini tops now and the ones with tie up backs are always a better fit. Perhaps try buying off the iconic - you can always order 1-2 sizes of the same style and they have 100 day returns.

    Handbag help

I was extremely lucky the other week and ParlourX in Paddington had 50% off all Chloe so I picked up 2 saddle bags - a small and a medium - for a total of $1640 for the two. The medium was a bag I've wanted to for years. Keep an eye out in boutiques that have sales like this for designer bags. Another online one is Green With Envy. I've picked up an Alexander Wang and another Chloe from them on sale. And as mentioned above Net-a-Porter are great and they often have good sales. Plus Shopbop.com - I've gotten a few of my other Wang bags from there at at least 25% off. For other brands try Deadly Ponies or even Witchery for the cheaper side of leather bags especially when they have 25% off offers.
  17. I use Burt's Bees Honey lip balm before I go to bed and when I want a deep conditioning. For everyday I use the burt's bees rejuvenating acai berry lip balm. I have tried others but these work for me.
  18. Hi Ella, I went from 390cc to 545cc so a very similar jump to you, although I went from round to teardrop. I found at the start the swelling didn't make them look that much larger but as it went down they started to look bigger to me. I also went up at least a cup size in bras - was an 8E now spilling out of 8F and ordered some 8Gs to try. Now 6 months later I feel they do look a lot bigger than my first set on me but maybe it's because they are wider and taller but I do also notice it in the projection. In clothes I can see it and naked. In order to have a massive difference you would need to do a huge size change but there is still a difference in 150cc+ particularly if you are on the smaller side. Wait for the releasing and settling to happen and you will notice some changes - maybe not as much as you want but there will be some.
  19. It's always such a hard thing to go through and we trust our surgeons. I know Dr Dona does revisions and I believe they may be around the $10k mark so perhaps have a look into him. I know I sound like all drs but they will continue to change over the next 4 months for you. They say you can hold onto swelling and drop for up to 12 months. Maybe hold tight and see how the size difference goes in that time. I know I love my exercise too - so I understand your dilemma. Ultimately though I think of you have the rippling now where you have it, it may not improve with unders. It sounds like you had enough tissue but we know as women the first place we lose fat is from our boobs. Have you raised the revision option with your surgeon and ask about costs etc?
  20. Hi! I have unders and have rippling - probably not what you want to hear but as you probably know the amount of rippling is relative to the size of implants and fat/tissue. Are you looking at going bigger or smaller? Where is your rippling? I had a revision last year and went from 390cc - with which I had rippling on the outer sides to 545cc with Flex HD which has hidden the outer rippling but I now have it in my cleavage. My dr did say the bigger the implants I have on me, the worse it would be as I have no tissue. I enquired about fat grafting and he advised you need a good fat cell to take it from because they need the inner fat to graft and I don't have that. He told me my realistic options were to go smaller implants (no! - I love my new size) or put on a little extra weight. I put on a little with the exercise restrictions of the BA and holiday time and while it was better, I'm not happy with the weight so trying to lean up again - therefore heading back to the rippling. Could you enquire about the flex HD? It's a strip of cadaver skin (off putting I know) that is sewn in to thicken the skin. It's worked great on my side rippling. My revision was well over $15k so I can't help you with a recommendation but I also got an internal bra with it that put the price up.
  21. I had rounds and changed to anatomical last October. I went with them this revision as I have a long torso and found with the round that I had no real upper pole. I went from flat bony chest to round implants. My new ones are tall implants and I feel they give me a better look. My round ones did create a slope but I lost the upper part. I should also comment on rotation as I'm a very active person - Kayla Itsines/functional training twice a week, Body Attack 3 times a week, running and stand up paddling plus more - and my surgeon knew how active I am and he suggested the anatomical, so I guess if it was a big risk he would have said go with round. I do ensure they are well strapped at the gym (double bra for body attack) so I hope this reduces the risk.
  22. I can understand. It does take time but if you want to follow it up with him - don't think you're bothering him. He is so easy going and would be more than happy to help you and set your mind at ease. My follow up last week was only 5-10 mins so it can really be quick and so helpful.
  23. I've had BA surgery with Dr T and a revision with Dr M and you really can't go wrong with either. They have very different personalities so perhaps have a consult with both and go with the one you feel most comfortable with. Both do great work though. Wow! @donatella that is soon - I hope the next week flies by - you've been wanting this for so long 👏 Can't wait to see it on snapchat!
