  1. Hi ladies. I am 6 weeks post op now and seriously considering about becoming a runner. I've always been relatively fit and running has always felt really easy to me but have never got into running for fitness. Am really keen to try something new and maybe even compete in the future. I've noticed there are some ladies on here that are runners and I would really love some advice, training routine for someone starting out, support bras, shoes etc. I haven't had my 6 week check up yet as I had to cancel this week and now go in next week so becoming really impatient to find out if I can start now. TIA xx 😃😊
  2. Hi Girls Hoping some of you might be able to help me! I'm having trouble fitting into any sports bras. My underbust measurement is 64cm. My bust measurement is now 89cm (bra size 8F). I've tried on sports bras (pull over ones) and Medium seems to be the right size for my boobs but is miles too big underbust. Even the Small is not super tight under my bust and I really need it to be firm so they don't bounce!! The Small does not even cover my boobs at all, they are popping out the sides and the top, and not in a sexy way! I'm planning to double bra anyway (wear something like a Berlei sports bra underneath) and a nike crop over the top but even when I put the crops over my post op bra they are still too big under bust I'm only 4 weeks PO so they aren't moving too much really at the moment, could this be the reason? Do you think I could possibly fit a Small once they soften up? So what I want to know is, where does everyone else get their sports bras and what size do they wear?? I see heaps of instagram fitness models with massive boobies and they seem to have no issue! What the hell?? The chick in the pic has her own sports label so next step is I'm going to email them haha!
  3. I have 1 week to go before I can exercise whole body without restrictions. Hoorah! The last 2 weeks I have only done cardio and lower body training daily using resistance & kinetic bands & weights such as leg press, leg extensions etc. So I am looking forward to getting my upper body strength back and was wondering how everyone eased into it? Did you do resume all upper body exercises (including overhead presses)? How about deadlifts? Did you just start off with really low weights? Would love to know!
  4. Hi ladies!! So a boob job is something that's been in the back of my mind since I was about 16 (and seriously for about a year and a half now, since joining this forum). I have two questions regarding implant type and post boob job fitness routine. I am 174cm and I believe about 64kg. I have always wanted a natural look due to my athletic shape and therefore have lent towards teardrop shape. HOWEVER, I do have worry that this will not give me much upper pole as I have very little tissue up there currently, while I have a nice amount at the bottom of my breasts. This is not to say I want the 'massive big tits' look (sorry for pigeon holing) but I am genuinely concerned that teardrops will end up dropping a lot and I will have regretted not going for a little more perkiness. Any advice from those of you who were or are in the same boat would be much appreciated! Or even advice from you body experts would go a long way! I have attached a photo for you to get an idea of my shape now🙊 Second question: fitness post boobies Currently I do a combination of reformer Pilates, yoga, weight lifting and pole fitness (and sometimes rock climbing). If there is anyone out there who loves the active lifestyle and had a boob job, how much did it change your routine? Were/are you unable to do push-up or pull-ups? Do you do pole dancing and do the new boobs effect you in any way? Ideally I would like to be able to do all of these at some point after my BA haha😅 but I have heard some surgeons recommended against them for at least 12 months! I have attached some embarrassing photos for you to get an idea of my overall body shape. Happy to take suggestions from your personal experience 😊 THANKYOU LADIES!! xx
  5. Hi Gals I started Kayla Itsines workouts on Saturday. I have done two! I went Saturday and Sunday and am resting today. Will be back at it tomorrow. I have the full 12 week work out program and food ideas book. WATCH THIS SPACE!!! Has anyone else done it?
  6. Hi guys So i am 11 days pre op. Im going in in the 29th September to have 335cc anatomical textured 'Natrelle' implants under the muscles. Im soooooo excited! I have just finished organising time off work. I work 2 jobs: first job - CLEANER. I have organised to take 2 full weeks off. Im a little worried that won't be enough but there is no way i can afford to take anymore than that.. Any thoughts on this from people that work a fairly physical job? Second job - BASS PLAYER IN A BAND. So this job i play every weekend in a rock covers band. Usually for about 3 hours each gig with breaks. I get the BA on Monday and i will be playing my first gig on Friday of the same week. So really only 4 days down time before i play the gig... I know you are all thinking THATS CRAZY! But i have told the drummer what is happening and she has agreed to carry all of my equipment, drive me to and from the gigs. Also i am allowed to sit down and play so the bass wont be over my shoulder.. Im really looking for any advice people have with dealing with the recovery and still having to work. I know theres people out there that have. You dont have to tell me its too soon. I am well aware of this. I am going to do my very best to be 100% 'still' for the remainder of the 2 weeks (apart from 4 gigs over the weekends)... Any tips or advice would be ace! Thanks guys x
  7. Hi, I'm a Melbourne mother of two and looking to compete on stage next March a a Fitness Model, and wanting to have breast implants before then. I saw Dr Dean Trotter last week who was great - he suggested I could go 300-350CC mod + on top of the muscle... I have 15% body fat and would like to get down to around 8% by that time. Will they look fake? I always thought I would need to go under the muscle although he said I had enough breast tissue that i would get away with over the muscle. I am also booked into see Dr Bruce Fox (and looking at Mark Ashton or Craig Rubinstein although I've heard these doctors are a few k more expensive). Does anyone have any experience working out on weights and the effects on the breast implants? and could they recommend a melbourne plastic surgeon who has experience with body builders? All fitness models seem to have fake looking boobs, is it because they always go over the muscle? Also what is rippling? Thanks heaps 172cm tall, 55kg, 12A
  8. Hi lovely ladies So with getting engaged and going on holiday for a month I've put on a bit of weight. Not much, but the more I think about it, I really want to get fit and toned... but I am useless at sticking with the routine. I've always had really active jobs, working on a farm, then in a boarding kennel.... cleaning dog kennels is such a work out its crazy. So I never really had to work out to get in shape. Every now and then I'll get all motivated and start doing a half an hour work out in the mornings at home on top of walking my dog every day like usual, and it'll last a week or something, then if I skip one day I just loose all motivation, or I'm so sore on the day off, I cant bring myself to start again. At the moment I walk my dog every day for about 45 min or an hour, and do yoga a few times a week. I definitely prefer to do stuff outside, and am not really keen on going to the gym, but if I have to I will once I can afford it. So all you super sexy amazingly fit ladies... can you help me at all?
  9. Hey guys! i know I'm still waiting on my consult with dr M but would love to know if your implants are under the muscle, under the tissue or dual plane? Or if your surgeon has recommended one... i am having a debate with with partner and he thinks going under the muscle is the worst decision you can make as I go to gym every night and do weights most nights... (Just to stay toned I'm not all muscley) hehe so yes please shed some light for me and how do they go when working out? Any comments would be greatly appreciated I am an A cup if not AA so I think I would have to at least go dual plane so the implants don't show thru :/ (I know there's a word for that, I'm still learning haha) thanks all Big Red x:o

  11. So I'm a pretty lazy person. I'm very tiny and never really had to exercise, and it never really bothered me that I can barely carry a few bags of groceries. But my sister is into the fitness stuff a little and mentioned that I should get my upper body, such as my arms, pecs and abs, all nice and strong so that when it came to surgery, there would be better blood circulation, which makes healing 50 times better, and I wont feel as weak, I'll have just that little bit more strength... plus exercise is good for you I guess haha. Just wondering if anyone else did this? Get all fit and healthy for their surgery. I've been doing little girlie push-ups throughout the day and sit ups before bed. Also, I work in a bar so I've been doing push-ups using the bar top when it's quiet at work. hehe! Armpit muscles are a bit tight and sore, woo! I've been thinking about using a super dooper moisturising lotion over my chest. I'm 21, with no kids obviously haha, so I suppose I don't have that much skin. I'm thinking that if I moisturise all day long, I may be able to fit bigger implants in, or even reduce the risk of stretch marks???? Hey I might be living in a fantasy land but it's probably good 'pretend' motivation for exercise and looking after my body!! HAHAHA! I've got 3 and half months to go so it's a prime time to make any positive changes and maybe some other ladies can join me and get fit together! All in the name of implants and positive healing!
