  1. Hey all, I'm seeking opinions on pros and cons between implants being placed over the muscle vs under the muscle? I'd been really keen hear people's experience with both. Also I'm very active and work out at the gym last days so I'm not sure which one is better for people who work out regularly. And advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  2. Hi there, I'm in Perth WA, I've been thinking about breast implants for a couple of years now and finally booked a consultation and set a date but it's left me more confused than anything. I need help on deciding whether to go over or under the muscle, I initially thought under the muscle as I really don't like the fake look but having seen a few friends that have had over the muscle done and theirs are lovely and natural looking. I'm a gym bunny so have gained a lot of muscle and dropped a lot of fat over the past few years, this has left me with very saggy breasts, to the point where I cry even thinking about them. I have quite bad stretch marks in the loose skin and can use my fingers to pick up the skin and my breast, sorry for the detail just trying to get across how they are. I have quite a long chest as well so it's practically flat all the way down and then gathers at the bottom. The surgeon I went to recommended 365cc and that it would bring to between a D and DD depending on future weight gain/loss. He suggested under the muscle for future sagging but i have just been told that you can get high profile placement, my surgeon never even brought this up, is that because it isn't possible under the muscle? He also never had me try on a bra to get a feel about what it would look/feel like at that size, he just handed me a couple of silicone implants to hold up to my chest. After speaking to my friends I have a lot less faith in him? Am I right or wrong? I feel I may have rushed it a bit. Also how do know when I need a lift, the surgeon said if my areola were 2cm lower I would need one, but now sure about his opinion. Also thought about getting my areola smaller if I was getting a lift as they are very very large. Sorry for the essay, just really nervous and confused now and need help. thanks xx
  3. Hey ladies, I had my BA last wednesday (24/2/16) with Dr Blackstock at enhance clinic. Himself and his team were amazing! I was originally booked for 330cc to 445cc (445 being my largest) moderate profile silicone over the muscle. I was so excited and had my heart set on the 300+ cc range but because my skin on my chest was soooooo tight the largest he could fit was 255 cc in both sides! I am 60kg and 169cm tall.. I am not exactly a petite girl and would consider myself average size.. I am trying to not let it get to me but feeling a bit disheartened I had to go over 100cc less then I hoped for. I have seen so many girls my size who have gone 400+ and have these beautiful breasts! I know i am in the early stages and there is still alot of change to come but I was wondering if there are any ladies who were in the same situation as me and could show me pics of 255cc or less? I was an A/AA before and hoping to be at least a large C/small D Thanks in advance girls <3

  5. **ESSAY ALERT** Hey girls! So I've been meaning to write a review for my BA experience for a while and I'm getting up to a month post op now so thought I'd get on with it! I can't find a review section for my surgeon but still wanted to write my experience in case it helps others whether they go with my surgeon or not!!So I had my surgery on 13th August 2015 at St John of God in Geelong and my surgeon was Dr Richard Rahdon. I wanted surgery because I lost a considerable amount of weight- around 42kgs- and the first place my weight went from was my boobs which was a bit devastating!! I am from England and here for a year but decided I wanted to be away from family when having my surgery and recovery as I don't want awkward questions or comments!I went to see Richard and explained I wanted my boobs back to the size they were. Richard was very understanding and happily answered all my questions, we talked about my options, tried on a few different sizers and I booked my surgery in! Then the wait began and it felt like forever until my surgery date!! I rang the clinic a few times asking different questions and I was always made to feel like my questions were very important and the staff were always happy to hear from me and chat to me. I decided to go with 550cc moderate plus over the muscle and mentor branded implants. I am very broad chested so they sit very nicely. Richard takes a few different sized implant on the day of your surgery in case you've changed your mind. And finally the wait was over and my surgery day was here! I was nervous but when I arrived at St John of God I was made to feel very comfortable. My partner came with me and we were given our own little waiting room. The nurse came and took my blood pressure and measured me for stockings and wrapped me up in a heated blanket so I was as comfortable as possible. She left us to watch TV and then after a while the anaesthetist came in and chatted to us about the procedure and asked if I had questions and then Richard came and measured me up and checked I was happy with size etc. after a little wait I was taken through and the anaesthetist gave me some 'G&T' and I was away with the fairies!!I woke up and I was absolutely pain free and very very happy (I think I was high on drugs and boobies) and I couldn't stop smiling. I went back to sleep for a bit and then woke and I was fed and given a drink and my meds and then went to the hotel we were staying in! My recovery has been really smooth so far and I'm really happy with my results. I can't wait to go get measured properly and buy some new bras (and clothes!).I can't recommend Richard and his team enough. All the ladies that work for him have been so friendly, lovely and professional. The hospital and my anaesthetist were great and I had a perfect experience. I am booked in with Richard in another couple of weeks where he will see me and I will have laser treatment for my scars. All in all I paid around $9000 (which was less than I'd anticipated for a PS) and I hope my review might help others considering Richard or BA in general. I am very grateful to this forum and you ladies as it has helped massively! Please feel free to check out my pics or ask me any questions. I love my boobies and I hope I haven't bored you to death with my essay! Xxx
  6. Hi Girls, I'm new here. Went for my first consult last week - super excited! and super comfortable with the surgeon I chose! I'm 70kgs, 5"5 (short), I have broad shoulders and chest, BW 12.5 and I'm currently a 14DD or 16D, I've breastfed 3 kids and my boobies look deflated to me but hubby and the doc recon theyre holding up well haha - my areola is still above my breast crease. I'm wanting at least 500cc's (I was thinking more like 600cc's) - the doc gave me 385cc sizers (size 4) sizers to wear for a few days - he says he's happy to give me larger but, he's scared me a little about the weight of going big! I don't think the sizers look big enough AT ALL! And I know that if I go that small I won't be happy - the more piccies of large boobs I see - the more my boobie greed kicks in - I'm 34 and I've wanted big implants since I was 15! My question is to the girls that have had the bigger implants how do you find the weight of them? Can you have a lot of time bra free? (I'm thinking of going back into stripping - I've got no cellulite or stretchmarks yay!) Also my surgeon said that he wants to go over the muscle - opinions on whether that's a good idea with a large implant would be great too?? I have spent a lot of time on here reading as much as I can - thanks heaps to all the ladies willing to share their stories - it helps heaps! xx Karma Have just figured out that my boobs have shrunk from working out heaps - I'm now a 14C - Bring on big boobs!!
  7. Hi Ladies, I am having my procedure on Weds 11th March with Dr Harwood at Rejuvenation Clinic in Brisbane. I am currently a size 12, B Cup, 170cms tall and weigh around 66kgs. I am 37yrs old and have no children, and I am definitely not having any lol I will be getting Brazilian Teardrops, Over the muscle, with a moderate profile which I am really happy with. We tried a few different sizes during the consult and this was really the best outcome for me and I cannot wait. I am hoping for a D cup. My question is if anyone here has had over the muscle, I need to know whether I will require a good restrictive crop top/binder following the procedure for a while? I have been told I can return to work after 3 days, I will be taking 1 & 1/2 weeks off as I have a physical job and work full time just to be sure. I am also unsure if I should buy a bra before the procedure, or wait until the 1 week mark to see what size I will need. Like I said though I will be having at least 9 days off following the procedure. If anyone can help I would be greatly appreciative

    Dr Poomee

I am getting my boobs done "hopefully" in April 2014 and am quite set on Dr Poomee but am a little scared as there is no before and after pictures of his work anywhere... I have been emailing him and he suggested I have a lollipop lift with implants infront of the muscle (he also told me that I have tuberous breast aswell) I've known there is something wrong with my boobs since I was like 13 and now I'm 21 and super dooper ready to have these things done!! Does anyone have and photos of his work that I could have a squizzz at .... THANK YOU LOVELIES
  9. Hey Ladies! I’m six weeks post op and went bra shopping in the weekend… Uh oh… I didn’t get sized cause I used to work in a Lingerie store and know how to do it myself. I tried on a 10DD but the cups were a little too small! At the moment I can get away with that size cause my boobs haven’t dropped completely yet but I’m worried about when they do! It’s going to be bloody difficult trying to find affordable 10E bras! So maybe I’ll be naughty and just stick to 10DD hehe. I still don’t like having the implant under the muscle, no one ever mentioned how annoying it is! I don’t like how if I tense my entire boob moves and contorts into a weird shape. Kinda wish I had gone over the muscle! I’m concerned about the healing of my incisions, the scars have stayed the same for about three - four weeks now. They don’t seem to be doing anything at all. They are still a very dark purple line with redness around it. I was wondering, who has photos up of their incision healing process? Could I please look? X I need to know if this is normal or not! Arghh! Also, any tips on what products to use or things to do to speed up the healing process? Thank you KiwiSez xx
  10. Hi Ladies! I am completely new to these forums but really need some help! I have just received an evaluation form from dr worapong from bangpakok 9 hospital in thailand and he wants to do above the muscle implants as they will keep my breasts looking more natural and closer together. However, I've been reading everywhere online that under the muscle is the way to go, and over the muscle increases the 'double bubble' effect and more likely chance of rippling/repeated surgery. I am worried that the only reason he chose this is because it's an easier operation. I only want to go from a B to a C... Has anyone out there had over the muscle from dr worapong? or have anything to say about over the muscle etc etc? I would love to hear what you have to say. Thank you!!! x
  11. Hey guys! i know I'm still waiting on my consult with dr M but would love to know if your implants are under the muscle, under the tissue or dual plane? Or if your surgeon has recommended one... i am having a debate with with partner and he thinks going under the muscle is the worst decision you can make as I go to gym every night and do weights most nights... (Just to stay toned I'm not all muscley) hehe so yes please shed some light for me and how do they go when working out? Any comments would be greatly appreciated I am an A cup if not AA so I think I would have to at least go dual plane so the implants don't show thru :/ (I know there's a word for that, I'm still learning haha) thanks all Big Red x:o
