  1. I've been doing some research on rhinoplasties because I'm thinking about getting one and I found this online. If you are an expert, and you have 5 minutes, could you help me out on some doubts I have about my nose? Any comment (really, any!) or advice would be much appreciated and would help me! I've been thinking for a long time about getting a rhinoplasty... On one hand I'm not even sure I want to go through with it because given that my nose is not that bad, it's easier for it to end up looking worse than it is now. And I know it's a fairly complicated operation. I know I don't have a massive nose, and I have to say it doesn't really bother me when I'm not smiling and from the front. The first thing is that I'd like the nose to be a bit closer to my face, so some deprojection. -The fact that I have a small chin doesn't help make my nose look smaller (but I don't mind having a small chin and I do mind my nose).- A part from that I think maybe the tip needs work in two ways: make it a tiny bit smaller (you can see the roundness of it it's a bit big specially when smiling) and turn it up a little bit so it doesn't drop when I smile. I think I don't mind too much that my nostrils get big when I smile. I think you wouldn't even notice they get big if the tip didn't drop and was smaller. What I'm scared about only changing the tip and not the nostrils is that maybe the nostrils would be too visible (even when serious) a bit like a pig, or even worse, very unnatural. I have been reading about facial proportions and supposedly the nose width should be the same as the eye width. This happens when I'm serious, so making it smaller would look to artificial with a relaxed face...? I have also seen photos like this: I think the tip has been reduced but I feel the final result looks very unnatural and even scary (Michael Jackson-like) given the width of the columella(?). I'd really just like to know if there's a lot of chances of making my nose worse if I did go through with it or seems like an easy result to achieve. Thank you, Any comments would be appreciated, I hope to hear from you given this is very important to me, but I understand if I need to book a consultation. Best,
  2. Okay, so I have now widened my list of surgeons instead of narrowing it!! I am tossing up between these surgeons: Dr Miroshnik, Dr Steven Liew, Dr Steve Merten, Dr Moradi. I want a really really natural looking breast. I am currently a AA and am 175cm tall and 57kg. I just don't want big fake boobs! has anyone had or know of anyone who has had BA's with these surgeons who might be similar to myself?? Thanks
  3. Hey Everyone So i quite like the look of Dr Merten's and Dr Moradi's BA work and I would like some input/reviews and comments from anyone who knows anything about these surgeons. They have excellent reviews but I am always a little apprehensive to base my choice on online reviews. I would love to hear from anyone who's had a BA with these surgeons or who's had a consult with them. I would also love to see some photos of women who have been through these surgeons (if you're happy to of course :)) Thanks everyone!! it's so nice having input from others in similar situations
  4. I didn't have a referral as I had my breast augmentation done in South Korea. However when I got back and had fallen ill with tonsillitis, I informed her about my surgery. She wanted a check up with me in a few weeks so I went today. When I saw her today, she said she was not judging me however asked if I'm okay, if I have low self esteem? Basically implied body dysmorphic disorder. Whilst this is a Dr in Singapore, I feel that in future when I go back to living in Australia I do not want to get a referral purely because of the questions. Did your Dr ask such questions? While I understand a part of their training is studying the link between plastic surgery and low self esteem, why every patient has to be labelled as that just because they would like to tweak something. She probably does have my best interest but I can't help but feel judged.
  5. I haven't lived in Australia for quite some years however I know for a fact that it isn't advertised or seen as positive as opposed to South Korea. When I was there on holiday, almost every street in Gangnam has a plastic surgery clinic. Gangnam isn't that big and apparently there are over 300 clinics. It's almost seen as a luxury and people freely talk about it. While their standards of beauty are different, they want to look more feminine/"baby" it's still plastic surgery. I get the impression Australians generally are narrow minded when it comes to plastic surgery, no? Even though I've only had a few procedures done, I've received backlash from family members and generally do not tell friends. However I feel if I had Korean relatives/friends, it would be different.
