donatella
I can't comment on the SUV but I own a 2 door BMW diesel and I just want to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE DIESEL. caterpillar
I agree! Diesel is amazing!!! Hubby owns a Diesel SUV and lets me use it when he's away. His is a KIA Sorento. It drives pretty well but parking is such a ***** in any SUV!!! KatvonDj
mummytotwo
Agree with the diesel. We drove to queensland from Melbourne and then back to Melbourne and it only cost us $300 in a Ford Ranger Wildtrak (hubbys car) caterpillar and KatvonDj
Hopeforbiggerboobs
We swapped our diesel holden captiva for the petrol. The diesel seemed to go quickly for us using it so much in the city and costs us $100 a week. But it was a great road trip car as we when we drove long distant it lasts longer and fueled up once. So it also dependsnon what car you get. Our petrol now is better and cheaper for our city driving and we dont plan on doing any rd trips soon. caterpillar
donatella
That's interesting I've never heard a petrol lasting longer then a diesel even with city driving. I guess the engine size had a lot to do with it tok KatvonDj
KatvonDj
I've only heard good things about diesel Engines they are cleaner and more fuel efficient..the car I'm looking at is turbo diesel 2.2l so will have more power. donatella
Hopeforbiggerboobs
Oh dont get me wrong, We heard good things about desiel too. Just for us the captiva tubo desiel wasnt for us as it cost us too much to run.

KatvonDj
It could use more diesel if the car is heavier I guess..but it's about 10c cheaper and a full tank is suppose to last longer..
KatvonDj
Oh don yours is a little sports car so much lighter car and heavier on the foot lol donatella
Hopeforbiggerboobs
You could be right. It was a 7 seater and I had to cart my family back and forth from school, shops, sports as well as go to work. We have the trax now so it's no super flash car. But it cost me $50 a week to fill and my services are capped at $150. Cant complain with that KatvonDj
Belamb
I just bought the Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland this weekend, thinking should have gone diesel but the V8 Hemi is so fun haha cheaper to run than I actually thought though!
