I didn't stop after my BA walked out of hospital after surgery, went and got changed out to dinner and shopping until late at night, the first 6 days were full on, day 7 my body just had enough and made me rest I had 3 days of struggling to have enough energy to even eat then the day before I was due back at work I felt normal again. If I overdo it even now I will feel like I need a nanna nap.

pink butterfly
Everyone heals differently. I went back to work after having 2 weeks off. I really should have had 3 weeks off as I have a physical job so that first week back at work was so difficult. I found by post op week 4 that I had more energy. overthinkingit
Pepper9
I went back to work after 10 days but I was still sleeping about 10 hours a night up to about 4 weeks. I didn't take many pain meds either but body definitely wanted to rest to heal. overthinkingit and KLeah
