The Best in Perth!

For quite awhile I have wanted to do something about my tiny lips. If I had to buy one more Sally Hansen lip plumping lip gloss I would go insane!

After much research and surfing the net I made an appointment with Dr Imani a Facial Plastic Surgeon in Claremont to find out more about Dermal Fillers. I couldn’t have been happier with my choice, he made me feel so comfortable and was more than happy to answer all the silly questions I had.

I explained to him exactly what I wanted to achieve and he talked me through the process.

The procedure didn’t take long at all. I am so pleased with my results, what a difference full lips make to a face and to a smile! I would not trust my face with anyone else. I have since gone back for some Botox in my forehead. I’m in love with the results! I look like a better version of myself :) Three of my friends have now gone to Dr Imani for Botox and are also extremely pleased with their results. Two of them are reluctant to share the secret to their youthful, flawless face. (Typical women!) I am more then happy to share this treasure I have found! I would encourage anyone who is considering any type of cosmetic procedure or facial plastic surgery to make an appointment with Dr Imani, he is well worth the wait!

Word of advice!

If you are going for Botox or any type of Dermal Fillers make sure you see a Facial Plastic Surgeon as there are a lot of people out there who are not as highly skilled and qualified to perform these treatments. I definitely wouldn't go with those internet deals clinics offer on Botox. They might be cheap but i have friends that have gone for this and didn't end up seeing any result from the treatment which makes you wonder...

He will be the person I go to when I next have fillers done. I went to absolute cosmetic and was so very unhappy with the results! I have lumps and a blue tinge under my eyes where the filler has pooled!! I look worse than before!!

I went to have a consult with Dr Imani regarding Rhinoplasty and asked about fillers. He seemed so much more knowledgeable and told me what the source of the problem was rather than just going along with what I asked for. Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks for posting this information, I have recently been researching botox and fillers in Perth and was pretty much at a loss as to where I would go. I had thought about Absolute Cosmetic and a couple of other places but hadn't heard any feedback from anyone about these places as most of my friends have theirs done in Bali. I have had both botox and fillers in Bali and am more than happy with the result but I cant keep jumping on a plane everytime I need something done.

MissBonnie,

Where in Bali do you go? I have an appointment with Dr Made Ita in December for fillers and perhaps some botox. This will be my first time doing this in Bali. Can I ask what you had done specifically and costing?

Jme x

Hi, my friends and I usually see Dr Murino (male) or Dr Siti (female) at ARC Clinic, Dr Murino was trained in Perth at UWA and has done extensive study and courses around the world. He has recently opened another clinic called Rejuvie but still works at ARC as well. I have had filler and botox, moles lasered off, IPL on my face, neck, chest and hands and micro-dermabrasion. I havn't had mine done but I believe he does an amazing job of upper and lower eye's. Prices are slightly cheaper at Rejuvie but having treatment at either place is a lot cheaper than Australia. I cant remember exactly what I have paid for my treatments but the prices are listed on their websites, you will just need to convert IDR to AUS.

www.rejuvieclinic.com

Other clinics that I know of that operate there are Miracle Clinic and the BMIC hospital now operate one as well.

Where is Dr Made Ita located?

Hi, I also had filler in my lips and under my eyes, with Dr Imani. It looks so much better than the results my friends got from a couple of other cheaper places. I was adamant I didn't want my lips to look too big and they don't. He also stops and shows you the result so far in a mirror, and asks if you want any more fullness, and then does a bit more etc.

Hmmm i tend to disagree, botox injection only requires a registered nurse to administer it. After they are fully trained they seem to be the best at it. And they are mostly females enjoying the same benefits from Botox themselves, so iv found they always put a VERY GENEROUS amount around your eyes and i wish i still had contact with a nurse called 'Ruth from Renaisance in Applecross because i never left that surgery with a line on my face..she must have retired or quit im guessing! "oh so sad :("

Since then i have been to the plastic surgeons offices with their extremely high prices and Botox that must be cut with water or saline, because you will Definately have to go back 2 weeks later so they can do the job properly - oh they are a rip off (its not rocket science to inject needles, diabetics do it every day. Sorry Chann80 but you either own the clinic or you are new to botox and the tricks doctors use keep it out of your face :/

for just a slight plumping in the top lip how much does something like that cost in perth?

Depends how much product is used. 0.5ml is around $500. 1ml is around $780. Those prices are for Restylane. Prices vary though. Also different products can vary in cost. If you shopped around on price you could probably get it cheaper but I chose to stick with the same place I go to as I am comfortable with them.

Dr Kate Morelet-Brown at the Rose in North Fremantle is great. She is renowned for her conservative approach and goes for a natural look if that is what you are after. She is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and national trainer for Botox and Juvederm. They don't do specials like other places but you get what you pay for I know I'd rather pay more for peace of mind.

I recently had a tattoo removal at Absolute Cosmetic Medicine. From the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly and taken care of by the staff. I felt so welcomed and the staff where very professional and informative. I had my treatment with doctor and he was super friendly and comforting. I didnt feel any pain and it was over before I knew it. The doctor put a dressing where I had the treatment and went over the after care with me, he showed me out to reception where the ladies at the counter asked how I went and if i needed anything. They gave me an after care sheet and booked my next appointment. The staff and whole feel of the clinic at Absolute Cosmetic Medicine where absolutely great and I cant wait for my next appointment.

I pay $450 1ml of Juve at Bramis, and $599 1ml voluma (cheeks) at SCA Whitfords/Carousel. Botox at both places is about $14 a unit. Both places a Dr is the injector as well as Bramis also has a RN who can perform the job also. Never had a problem to tend to also disagree with the original poster.. Many times the places that offer the product with less mark-up tend to have more hands on experience and I have got better results..

Is that the same Dr Kate from this post?
